My Samsung LN52A550 has colored vertical lines in the middle and right side of the screen is black. Is the problem related to T-CON?

I bought a "used" T-CON board and replaced it, but it still has the same problem. I dont think it is the LCD screen because the picture is good then minute later, this happens.

Yes,this problems alway the problems and the causes by the T-CON decodering board. If this problems acurring by it self.If this problems are causes by and an object or a person by hitting the LCD screen panel itself, than LCD screen is dead, not repairable.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decodering board for the replacement.

My LCD TV has a vertical line on the right side of the screen. What causes that?

I hate to give you bad news but I believe this will be a panel issue and it's not going to be fixable. You can try a different tcon board but I don't think it will help

Vertical color lines half of screen on right side

probably the 2 ribbon/flex cable(s) aren't connected correctly between the T-CON board and the Scan boards that are connected to the screen/panel!
If not replace T-CON board, and if that does'nt work
the screen/panel is most likely bad!

Vertical lines

you could have a faulty LCD/t-con ribbon connection, or a failing LCD panel. I would suggest you try and reseat the ribbon cables to the panel and t-con, if you are comfortable doing this!

I have a Samsung ln52a550. There are colored vertical lines on the right side to the center of the screen. The tv has hung the the wall for about 2 years.

This problems colored vertical lines show up to ur tv by itself?Yes.Than ur tv the board that call the T-CON decodering board it is dying and the causes. This T-CON decodering board sit in the middle in the bottom of the tv LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decodering board for the replacement. But if this colored vertical lines causes by a person or an object by forced hitting it,this tv it is not repairable only can be replacing the whole tv LCD screen panel only, not worth as a whole tv anymore if this tv require a whole new tv LCD screen panel replacement, because it will cost the same as a new tv.Tv now only can be used as salvage tv for it electronic boards as spare parts for other tvs only now.

My Samsung LN52A550 has vertical lines in the middle and right side of the screen is black

This most likely a problem with the T-CON board.

If this set is under warranty you should return it to get it repaired/replaced by the seller.
IF YOU KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH ELECTRONICS REPAIR(board replacement ) or have a friend with knowledge/skill you can fix it.

Sometimes due to heating/cooling or contamination the connection pins on the T-CON board and cables do not make good contacts. The T-CON board is located in the center of the set.

After taking off the back cover and shield over the T-CON board carefully remove the flat cables connected to the T-CON board. I believe there are 4. The connectors have a lip on them to hold the cables so be careful.
Now reconnect the cables. Recheck the display now. If it has not corrected you can disconnect and reconnect again.
The very first solution I entered on fixya.com had essentially this same problem and solution.

If this does not solve the problem you can replace the T-CON board.

The T-CON board look something like;
