My kaba gun lock will not open i put new batteries in it i have tried 3 different one but nothing will work. i try to punch in my code and it just peeps at me and i can not get into m gun safe.

My sentinel gun safe won't lock. Electronic lock has fresh battery and when I turn handle it sounds like its locking, but opens right back up without punching in code

I had exact issue with a brand new unit. I was about to return it and then it suddenly started working. Try gently jiggling the lock mechanism with a small screw driver. Maybe that will help but I truly don't know why started working.

Need to put a 3 number code into a new unican lock

You will find a link to download the manual for your model on this page:

Hover your mouse over "PDF" under the "TIPS" column and the two choices of "Changing the Code/Combination" or "How to Reset a Lost or Unknown Combination" will appear--move your mouse over the appropriate one and click to download the info.

These are PDF files, requiring Adobe Reader to open. There is a link on the same page to download Adobe reader, if the file will not display for you.

Opens with out a code and can not get it to stop pulling the latch back. i tryed to put a new code in but cant grt past step 2

I THINK that the problem you describe is because the lock is in "Zero Code":
"If your lock is opening on every turn of the knob or lever, except upon entering a code, this may be a ZERO CODE."
Go to this web page:

and position your mouse on PDF under the "TIPS" (rightmost) column on the grid line for the L1000.
Two choices will pop up; click on the upper one "Changing the code/Combination...." and download and open this file.
If it does not open, you need to download and install Adobe Acrobat on your computer from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ It's free!

When you get this document open, you will see the statement that I quoted from the top about the Zero Code. At the bottom of the document you will see:
Troubleshooting
Symptom/problem: Outside knob/lever when turned always retracts latch without depressing
any buttons.
Cause: Lock is in zero combination.
Solution: Follow the procedure for changing a combination except omit step 3 (do not enter
the existing combination).

One last nasty piece of information: If you don't have the necessary DF-59 Key or spanner wrench mentioned in the procedure, you can get either from these sources:

After punching in the code and turning the doorknob, unless you let the knob snap back you can reopen the door without punching in the code. If you let the knob back slowly it will reopen. I've tried...

Unican LL1011 lock - the code opens the lock correctly. If a wrong button(s) is pressed the lock does not open as I would expect but when the correct code is entered it then fails to open

I recommend that you contact Kaba Ilco with this problem--there may be nothing wrong with it at all, but you need an answer.

I can't reset by keypad on my cannon gun safe electronic key pad

Hi,
First I would try the original numbers to see if you did change it. If the original numbers work then you need to start over. If they don't work then the new numbers you installed are there and you need to figure out what you punched in not what you meant to punch in.
