I have a Canon F50 printer and it is not printing correctly. It misses lines on the copies. I have put in a new Canon cartridge but it continues to do so. It keeps saying it is out of ink, but the new cartiridge is in there. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

First question is whether it is a valid Canon cartridge. If it is you may need a new print head. Try putting in the old cartridge (suggest you shake it a little first) and see if that changes anything.

My Pixma MG5250 has run out of Cyan ink, how can i continue to print with just black ink?

With the canon single ink inkjet printers it is not possible to use only the black cartridges for printing. You will have to put a new cyan cartridge into the printer to continue printing.

Changed ink cartridges, error code Wrong Cartridge, won't print, copy or scan

I had this same problem with my HP All in One. They told me the cartridge was defective, or the sensor was bad. Try a new cartridge first.

Printer/copier has been idle for about 3 years as we were out of the country. Now I cannot get it to copy documents

If it goes through all the motions like its making a copy but the page is blank you need a new print head or cradle with new ink cartridges. Ink printer do not like to sit for long periods. It will cost about 60.00 from canon. Steven 818-888-0006

Canon MP F50 "wrong cartridge" error

remove all cartridges leaving printhead intact.
close cover, turn off
turn on, let power up, error message should be gone.
open cover, reinstall cartridges
if you cleaned your print head like I did you'll probly
eventually end up getting a new one anyway, due to the color variations
but I can at least print text.

While printing photos my printer has white vertical lines

Sounds like you need to re-align the print cartridge . The reason the text comes out ok is probably because it is only using the black cartridge for text. The color cartridge is the one that's out of alignment. You may have some sort of Cannon utility running in the task bar that will allow you to easily allign the print cartridges. If not, go to the main "Printers and Faxes" window, RIGHT-click on the printer and select "Properties". You should be able to find a button in the properties that's labeled something like re-align print cartridges. It will print out a series of test pages and ask you to select the set of lines that looks the straightest and type it in. It's a good idea to do this every time you replace a cartrige. Hope this helps, If I was able to FixYa, please remember to rate me. Thanks.

Canon Multipass F30 not printing

Did you remove the tab that covers the cartridge head where the ink comes out, if the drivers and software that you loaded on your pc work
good and your printer shows under device MGR, then it is the printer
itself,,most times you can not see how much ink in the cart,,,most are sealed,,,just try to put the cart in again and make sure it is locked in good,,try running the cleaning program with pc,,make sure the right
cart is in the right spot, bl in one spot and color in a spot.

Wrong cartridge messsage

Hi, Please follow :
1. Reseat F30 / F50 print head 2. The Print Head may need replacing - F50 3. Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device 4. The F50 may require repair

You can see exactly how to perform these steps with pictures at this link

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=238&modelid=6324

Go to this link if you are unable to find the"Wrong Catridge" link
then you need to type "wrong cartridge " in the small search box on the website.
If the website asks you to select
"Category.=Multifunction"
"Product Type =Inkjet"
"Model= Multipass F50"

Cheers
