When you get new batteries for a cordless phone you need to let them charge over night. If you don't the battery will lose its charge much quicker. Now start by charging the batteries followed my plugging the base unit into the phone jack and the electrical outlet. The base unit is what sends out the signals to all the phones and is where your answering machine is located. Once the base is plugged in to the electrical socket and phone jack your phones should start receiving signal again. Make sure the batteries in the phones themselves are plugged in firmly and properly.

Ive recently bought a new xbox 360 console and now i want to play online but i need toknow exactly what i need as in what broadband, how many mb, and if i need a phoneline?

An xbox will work ok with any internet connection.
You can use an ADSL connection through your phoneline, or a cable internet connection.
I would aim for at least 2 Mbit connection, most companies are offering up to 20 Mbit, so you should not have a problem.
There are plenty of guides to show you how to set up your xbox. Just google Xbox internet setup

I just bought 42 inch toshiba LC and want toknow if I bought the newest model. the receipt looks like 111D206 I need to know if they sold me the new version or an old version.

This model is from the latter months of 2008. There would not be a newer version. It would have been on the store's shelves since then.

Problem with Nokia 3310

If the battery was draining too quickly, and a new battery does the same thing, it is very possible that the phone has a defect that is causing it to draw too much currnet. This you will not be able to service yourself. You will have to send the phone out for service.

Considering the cost of servicing a phone, it may be worth to simply get a new phone.
