The "connected" message applies to the TV, not the internet connection. To connect to the internet, either use an ethernet cable, or connect wirelessly using instructions provided.

You need to tell it, it is a proxy.

In internet explorer pick tools, internet options, then pick connections, then LAN settings. There you will find the setup to access the internet via a proxy.

Got to Tools (ALT+T) in browser
Pick Internet Options in Menu
Pick Connections Tab and change the connection type from dial-up to nothing.
Then it will pick up your LAN settings for your wireless connection.

it depends on if u have internet in ur house if u do then go to the system settings and go to internet settings, connection settings ,go to new connection,and pick tutorial,pick home,put yes, put yes again , no/i don't know if u have questions if u don't press ok wait if it says ok then go to o3zm6 then type in the security key

Yes you need a connection to get on the internet.

Wired is faster, wireless is sweeter. Go to a location like Starbuck's, Panera Bread, ect and ask for an OPEN SOURCE for your Wireless connections.

It's a good thing that your computers are picking up the Wifi connection. But the connection to the Internet is another matter. Call tech support of your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to make sure that your Modem (Cable or DSL) is configured to connect to the Internet at all.

Depends apon the signal and how you have the computer settings some of the older computers have programs where differant places will not be picked up !
Did you check your internet options in your control panel?
1.Check your internet options and see if your lan settings have a check mark in the top box for lan atuomatic detect settings click ok then your internet should pick up ..... if you are still haveing prombelms please let me know ... Lala linda

If you can detect wireless connections in your area, then you have a wireless card in your Apple.
You cannot connect to the Internet unless you have a DSL or cable modem that connects to an Internet Service Provider.
You can connect to the Internet using a public access WiFi hot spot, these are located at McDonalds, Star Bucks and at the airport etc. and some Internet Cafe. There maybe some charges for these Internet connection.

well first is it wired or wireless?

Wired: just plug in your Ethernet Cable in the back of the PS3 and go to Network Settings, Internet Connection and pick wired. do a Connection test and your good to go.

Wireless Network Settings, internet Connection then pick wireless, pick our access point and put any security codes in(WEP, WPA-SK) connection test and it should work.

But i recommend using the Wired connection cause the internet is a lot faster.
