As you know friend, some water when it is boiled it really taste bad so I suggest use a water purifier to filter other out dirt, dust, other particles in a water street supply. Sure when you drink the water (not boiled) it doesn't taste bad, that's normal because we can't distinguish it easily. Also try to clean your kettle using baking soda it will eliminate tainted taste. I hope my advice help you with your problem.
If by desalazize you mean remove the deposits which build up from the minerals in your tap water, the easiest way to do it is with white vinegar (most vinegar will work but white is best for cleaning).
Fill kettle with a mixture of white vinegar and water (about 50/50 but it doesn't have to be exact) until it covers as much of the deposits as possible.
Heat the kettle until the liquid boils
Let the kettle sit with the liquid in it for 3-6 hours
Empty and Rinse
Fill kettle with regular water, boil, and empty to get rid of any lingering vinegar taste.
If the deposits are especially thick, you may need to repeat steps 1-4 before moving on to step 5.
I see what you mean, it is part of a set. I bought one, in dark grey, and I am sure they sold one in black, from Wilkinsons. It was Quick Boil Kettle only, on a standard connector stand. TJ Hughes also stock them!
i brought a belline kettle from target 2 months ago and now the lid wont shut where would i find a contact no for the company as target wont issue me a new one and i dont have my reciept after all who would have thought it would be faulty after 2 months
Try different water. If you use tap water normally, buy a jug of water at the store. The pH may be wrong (particularly if it is too low) and leeching metal from the kettle. Good luck.
Water can 'explode' when heated in a microwave under certain conditions. Best way to boil water should either be using a water boiler or an old-fashioned kettle.
