You need a small blue mushroom that turns you microscopic then go to the second castles in worlds 2-5 go to the bosses as microscopic mario or luigi and ground pound them until they die if you dont ground pound it wont die
ps hold down L and R buttons while selecting a file to get Luigi you will hear a voice say luigi when you do it right
You need to have the shrinking mushroom(blue) in your dock. Hit the final boss of world of the world before world 3 or 7, 2 times. Then use the shrinking mushroom. Jumped over bowser and hit the down but and mario will slam down and finish him off. Then when you are running to the next world you will fall down a hole to world 3 or 7.

I don't know how to open the cannons but i do know how to get to worlds 4 & 7.
Ok. All you have to do is beat world 2's boss, while you are mini mario, to get to world 4. and beat world 6's boss, while you are mini mario, to get to world 7. :)
You need to get a mini mushroom in the preceding levels, and go through an alternate mini pathway to end the level. That will take you to the other worlds.
To get to these, you will need to complete the castle at the end of worlds 3 & 6 as super mini mario. Once you defeat the castle boss, mario will drop down the little hole, and go to the new worlds
You need to beat the bosses of Worlds 2 and 5 as mini Mario.
When you beat them normally, you should notice as Mario runs into the next room, there is a tiny path under the ground. Those paths are to Worlds 4 and 7, and only mini Mario can fit in there.
So when you fight the bosses, either have a mini mushroom in reserve or go into the fight as mini Mario, then in order to hurt the bosses, instead of regular jumps, you have to do a ground pound on them. Three ground pounds will do it, but make sure you are mini Mario at least on the last attack, and then you're off to World 4 and/or 7!
