You will obviously need a spoiler, but also a fitting kit which is available from Volvo. It fits onto the inside of the tailgate. Will take about half an hour to fit.

I have a 2007 Infiniti G35s sedan. I installed an OEM spoiler & spliced the spoiler wires to the 3rd brake light wires. Non of the brake lights work now including the 3rd & spoiler. What did I do?!...

Sounds like you have lost ground somewhere along the way. might try running a ground from spoiler to frame or simply replacing wires back to original and trying again. Would put my money on a ground wire. good luck

How to install a spoiler for 2001 chevy impala

If the spoiler has mounting studs then holes will need to be drilled into the trunk lid so that the spoiler can be bolted on from inside. You must figure out where to drill the holes so that the spoiler will be centered on the trunk lid. One method is to apply shoe polish or machinist dye to the end of the mounting studs. carefully place the spoiler onto the deck lid where you would like it to be. Press straight down and then lift it straight off with one motion. The spots that are left behind is where the holes should be drilled. The holes can be enlarged slightly to allow for final adjustment. Use spacers between the spoiler and the deck lid to keep the paint from being damaged when closing the trunk lid.

The rear spoiler has come off from the rear of the car. i heard a strange noise and when i went to investigate it was only being held by the wire for the break light. I took it to a mechanic who removed...

If the original hardware was screwed on, then most likely the bolts rusted and broke. I would suggest to have new spoiler with hardware be installed.

If buying a new one is not within your budget, might be able to glue it on but no guarantees that it will stick for a long term.

How to replace 3rd brake light on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica?

the 3rd brake light is mounted to the spoiler. you need to remove the spoiler from the liftgate to acces the mounting bolts and the wire clip. there are five points of attachment of the spoiler, four hex nuts (metric) and one snap clip. two are accessable when the liftgate is open, they are in the corners of the liftgate. two more are under the upper rear window interior trim. the interior trim is held on by snap clips. if you pry outward on the trim starting on the right side of the window and work your way toward the middle you will be able to gain access to the two other nuts. once you have removed all four nuts, then close the liftgate and remove the spoiler by lifting up to disengage the last attachment point (snap clip). you will then need to change the light by removing the two nuts and disconnecting the wire clip. re-instal is the opposite of above. make sure that the wire for the third brake light does not get pinched when installed. (mine was improperly installed from the factory and the wire was pinched and this may have been why there was an early failure of the light)

I have a 2000 Audi A4 2.8 wagon. At freeway speeds, air pressure keeps the wiper blades from fully contacting the windshield leaving smearing. Is there an aftermarket airfoil fitting that would give some...

Some customising shops do a small chrome spoiler which does the trick

Perhaps the springs in the wiper arms are shot and you need to replace them instead of just the blade assy

How do you replace the brake light on the rear spoiler on a 2001 Hyundai Accent?

This is the Spoiler Dude. The spoiler light is attached with screws to the spoiler. You must remove the screws and then the spoiler light will come away from the spoiler. Clip the two wires ( Black & Red ). Attached the new spoiler light ( I can get that for you) with a sleeve. Test the new light with the brake pedal depressed. Screw in the new light and that is it. If you have any questions.

Ford ka rear spoiler

You need to look on under side of spoiler, and match studs. (two way threaded bolts) to the wholes. after that mark where the stud wholes need to go through the trunk then drill wholes a 16th bigger than the studs. After drilling wholes through the trunk get sillicone sealer around wholes. Install spoiler and install bolts on the underside of your trunk.
