Krishan, sorry there are no settings that will allow you to do this on the 105SL. If the printer code expecting a 203 DPI printhead and you have a 300 DPI Printer then your label will print out much smaller then normal.

If you are printing labels with a label printing package (such as Seagull Bartender for Windows) then all you need to do is to install the proper printer driver. If you have your printer attached to a system that is sending "straight" ZPL (Zebra Printing Language Code) then your out of luck.

Hope this helps

You can change it over, this requires changing out the stepper motor and the printhead though. If you change them both over then you wont have an issue

Hey, is this possible to replace/upgrade the print head to 203 dpi to 300 dpi in zebra ZD50042-T113R1FZ printer ?

It is not. The DPI is part of the main board of the printer. if you change the print head, you must change the electronics. There is no reasonable way to do what you are asking. At least not cost effectively. It would be cheaper to buy a 300dpi printer.

Zebra 105sl printer labels print too small

There are 3 different DPI Printheads for Zebra printers if you print a label set up for a 200 DPI Printhead on a printer with a 300 DPI Printhead installed it will be about 66% of the size.

Can print from file but cannot from application

Check the DPI setting. With Zebra printers some print at a 203 DPI and others print at 300DPI. You will need to confirm what DPI level the printer supports and verify that the driver in the application is using the correct one. If you do the process to have the printer print its default config I believe it lists the DPI there

Labels are printing too small

This printer is available in 203 and 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) resolutions. I'm guessing that you have a 300 DPI printer and are using the printer with a 203 DPI driver. This would result in your labels being printed "small". Check to see that you are using the proper driver.

Font height is big in printed barcode. how can I adjust the size of the font?

check if the setting FORMAT CONVERT is with some numbers, please change for NONE.
This seting change the resolution from Printhead 200dpi or 300dpi or 150 dpi or none, none mins, if you have 200dpi printhead, print 200dpi resolution(small fonts). if have 300 dpi, print with 300 dpi resolution, if have 300 dpi(very small fonts) printhead, can print 150dpi(big fonts) if change this setting.
if ok, check the driver or your software.

Thermal Printer Problem

We use Nice Labels software in house and it uses the standard windows printer drivers. A good alternate site for printer drivers is seagullscientific.com.

Barcodes

Not sure if this is 100% fixed but the teklynx had two zebra printers listed, one 200 dpi and another 203 dpi, when switched to 203 dpi the barcodes came back. The labels prompt for conversion to 203 dpi and aren't perfect but close enough to use.

Labels enlarged

if they are diferent resolutions, ex. you change from 200 dpi to 300 dpi, you need to change something inside the printer like the gears (just reversing the platten roller gear and the the withe gera on the motor) and you are printing on 300 dpi with very small fontes.

Zebra 105 SE Printing Blank Labels

You need the correct driver for the 105Se. The 300 dpi SL driver is not compatible.

Unfortunately, Zebra does not make it's older drivers available online. You will need to locacte someone with the correct driver for whichever version of Windows you are using.

Print Width Issue

the issue you are having is DPI related, when data is sent to the printer and rendered it is dot for dot, so a Z4M 203dpi printer has about 800dots on the printhead where your printer has about 1200dots on the printhead. so when your software prints to dot800 thinking it is the edge of the label it is infact at 60%. there sould be an option in the software to configure around this. if not the is an option in the printer to convert DPI setting ie 150>300 or 100>200 and so on. but i don't thing you can make a 300dpi print as 203dpi

best of luck
