How do i delete everything on this? I am giving it to a friend.

Sometimes - deleting everything - does not delete everything - I found that doing a backup and restore cleans up a bunch of unused OTHER files and frees space.

Wipe it really clean? Like erase Windows and everything?

Do you have the original disks that came with the computer? If you boot from a Windows installation disk, then you can reformat (wipe) the disk before you install. That's a nice clean install. If you want to go a step further, you could repartition the drive with fdisk, then format it.

If you're looking to keep windows, but erase all the programs and files, that's more tedious. Open Control Panel, go to Programs & Features. You'll see a list of installed programs. You can double-click on a program to uninstall it.

To get rid of files, I would suggest creating a new User account for yourself, give yourself Administrator permissions, and then delete your friends account. Then you can look in the Users folder, and if you see your friend's account on a folder, delete it.

I think you should open a new one and then just send friend requests with an explanation, also this gives you a chance to weed out the people you really don't want on your friends list.

Delete them. They are obviously not close enough to you or you don't trust theM enough to give them everything.

There is some free (for home use) software called "Recuva" that you can use to do this. It will look for any files that can be recovered. Provided the card has not been used since the files were deleted the files should be recoverable.

You need to insert the card into the computer that has recuva on it and then select the correct drive letter in the software and then scan for deleted files.

LOL, good luck using the disks. Most times they don't work.

Why not just create a user account with the friends name then sign on using the account you just created and delete the other user accounts. It will delete all your My Documents folder (music, pictures, videos, documents).

Click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and select the option to create a new user account. Use your friends name to create the account then restart the computer. When it boots back up, log in using the name of the newly created account. Then click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and select a user account to delete. When prompted about saving anything for the account select the option to delete everything associated with the account.

Now if you want to remove any programs after you've deleted the accounts click Start/Programs and search the program list for folders to uninstall. If it has an uninstall option, take it.

Any program you want to delete that is not in a folder in the program list or does not have an uninstall option can be deleted by clicking Start/Control Panel then look for Add or Remove Programs, or Program Features or Uninstall Program (just depends on your operating system). Open it and let it populate the programs, then highlight the program you want to uninstall by clicking it and select Remove or Uninstall.

You don't delete the dogs. Ok well first of all you turn off you DS and open the game again once it says Nintendogs without showing your dog yet, quickly press the following buttons: A B X Y control pad and L R ( left and right ) BUT DO NOT PRESS START AND SELECT!!!!
