If your iron won't reset (As mine didn't!) just place it (being extremey careful) over a hot surface (just touching the ceramic part of the iron and ONLY the ceramic!...I did it with a small butane torch just heating the ceramic flat surface) to "force it" to go over that boring 69 number. Let i go as high as you can, preferably up to 450 F and...Voila! after that the iron will work perfectly!

If [230] appears on the
display screen, then the temperature is set to Celsius. To change back
to Fahrenheit:
1. Turn off your flat iron and unplug from electrical
socket (wait for 10secs).
2. Then plug the iron back into the electrical socket.
3. Press
& hold down the HIGH [?]button, then press ON/OFF button. An "F" will appear on the
digital screen. Your device is now in Fahrenheit mode.
