Error Code 155: Fatal Error

Which fatal error do you have. If you have a 49 error, you can check my tips on resolving 49 errors. If you have a different error, please post back with the exact error code and I can provide guidance on that.

Your printer display or status monitor may read "Fatal Error". This simply means a problem has occurred requiring action to clear.
A "Fatal Error" does not mean your printer will "die". Fatal Error explanations are not usually found in the User's Guide or Handy Reference Guide.

RECOMMENDED NEXT STEP: First, try turning off your printer then turning it back on. If this does not clear the message or remedy the problem, check to see if your printer is on a power strip (or not plugged directly into the wall). For testing purposes, be sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall. Often, the issue is power-related.

Second, if the issue persists after this, write down the message (including the 3-digit error code number) and email us at "[email protected]" or call Oki Data Customer Support (1-800-654-3282) for assistance.

NOTE: If you see a series of letters and numbers(scrolling across the display) after the 3-digit error code, be sure to write these down also and report them when call or emailing Customer Support.

fatal error code 10x50 Home position error. Possible causes : Foreign object, Deformation of the Main Frame, Change Lever failure, Paper jam.
Last fatal error code 20xF1 PF PID excess load error. Possible causes : PF Motor failure, PF drive mechanism overload (paper jam, foreign object, insufficient grease, deformation of the Main Frame), Tooth skip of the PF Timing Belt, Improper tension of the PF Timing Belt, Cable disconnection, Main Board failure (Motor driver failure).
Last fatal error code 30x50 Home position error. Possible causes : Foreign object, Deformation of the Main Frame, Change Lever failure, Paper jam.
Last fatal error code 40x0A CR load position excess load error. Possible causes : CR Motor failure, CR Unit drive mechanism overload (paper jam, foreign object, Change Lever failure), Cable disconnection, Main Board failure (Motor driver failure).
Last fatal error code 50x50 Home position error. Possible causes : Foreign object, Deformation of the Main Frame, Change Lever failure, Paper jam.

Oki ERROR 073 is a H/W Overrun detect. this occurs when the video circuit has set the overrun bit. Restart the printer and check the first print out. Try printing a different job and then reprint the same job that the error occurred. If you get the same error again, try using a different driver, ie swap from PS or PCL whichever you were using to see if that clears the error.

That is a fuser code. Turn off and take out fuser(the part that gets hot) and inspect it. Put it back in and turn back on. If code is still there replace fuser.

Hi.. i only remove the memory ROM in the board and refixed it, then i turn on the printer and now its working :)

Looks like a fuser problem.
Re-saet the fuser.
Check for pieces of paper, etc. in the path.

Yes
Reinstall the fuser after its
connection connector is cleaned
Turn on the power supply again
If error still exists_
Replace M32 board after check
the cable connection.
