After a cold start, I don't get cabin heat for about 15 minutes. The heat gauge starts at C (cold), rises to normal operating temperature, then rises to just under the H (hot) for about 30 seconds, at...

Check for low coolant, you might also have a sticking thermostat. Alot of fords get air pockets, make sure if it needs coolant to let it run for about 10-15 min with the radiator cap off.

I have a new trane system - thermostat makes an annoying clicking sound every 10-15 minutes -

Sorry to say, that annoying clicking sound is the thermostat calling for cooling/heat. Whenever the temperature is reached it will "click" off and then "click" back on when needed. Some thermostats are quieter, but all digital thermostats will have that sound. Sorry again and I hope this answers your question!

Whirlpool estate electric dryer model teds680eq1 starts spins heats up then quits 15 minutes later

The operating thermostat has probably failed. When the dryer haets up, it gets too hot and the high limit thermostat turns the machine off. After it cools down, it will start, again.

Dryer shuts off after 15 minutes and needs to cool down then will start again and the cylec continues!!On, off,on, off.

The problem is more likely a high temp limit switch. I don't have a schematic of your dryer, but one should be included somewhere on the dryer. You have to use a voltmeter to test the components in the circuit. The thermostat controls the heat temp, you may want to start there
