Hey,

you dont need a Cd to install your wireless router.
If you are looking for a CD , download the same from the routers site.

Or press the small reset button on the back of your router to reset the entire network, then connect the router to your laptop/desktop by a wired connection, navigate to your routes default webpage (details behind or benath the router) and then login and configure everything again.

Cheers!!!

Are you trying to setup Linksys router?
You can run the installation CD to setup Linksys router or you can do it without installation CD also.
Connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable.
Open the setup page of the router.
Change the Internet connection settings.
Create a new wireless network.
Connect to the network.

I will suggest you a website that you can try to setup your Linksys wireless router without installation CD.

I reseted my router now i want to put new password but do not have cd installation

Hi,

regarding the setup fo your Router, you have to connect it to your PC first via LAN cable. You do not need a installation cd at all. Simply connect the LAN, wait for few seconds and try the stepps mentioned here

I bought a Belkin N Wireless Router F5D8236-4 v2 and changed my internet provider a few months later and I have lost the Installation CD, can I install it without the CD?

Yes you simply need to hook up via an Ethernet cable, open a browser type in the routers address, login with username and password, and then you can edit any setting you like. Then when finished you save settings and reboot router.

I have a buffalo wireless router, and cant connect it properly, i put the cd into my pc to tell me how to connect everything and it doesnt work

hi,
After connecting your router hardwired.. do the ipconfig in the command prompt window... make a note of your default gateway...It should be as 192.168.1.xxx Enter this no... in the address bar in Internet Explorer... Access the Modem... Try to configure it with the username and the password provided from your ISP, eg bell, verizon, primus etc..
this is the manual installation of your wireless router.. make sure that the modem is in the bridged mode or DHCP mode...

Linksys wireless prnt server

Hi,

Based on your post description, I am assuming that:
1. You can connect to the Internet through your 2241 Neptoia modem;
2. You can access your WRT54G V8 Linksys Wireless router @ 192.168.1.1;
3. Both 1 & 2 above could be done through a wireless connection from your PC.

Connect everything as they are supposed to be wired (printer, Print Server, modem, router etc)

Pls try:
a. Connect the Linksys wireless print server using a lan cable to the Linksys WRT54G Wireless AP/router. (Will tackle the wireless connection a bit later)
b. Reset your print server; &
c. Do a diagnostic print-out.
Instructions for b & c are in page 4 of your manual.

You need to verify that:
i. the Power indicator is contnously green
ii. the Ethernet indicator is contnously green
iii. the USB indicator is contnously green
iv. the Wireless indicator may or may not be contnously green

Pls post back with the generated diagnostic print-out before we can proceed with the other steps.

Additionally, try installing the Epson Stylus Photo RX600 direct to one of the USB ports of your PC. Use the installer/driver CD that came with it. Try using it as a regular printer. This will tell us status of the printer.

Good luck and kind regards.
