SOURCE: dell inspiron 1525 notebook will not start windows

Usually this happens when the vista boot loader fails. During boot up, keep tapping F8 and then select Disable Automatic Restart... and get the stop error code which usually starts with 0x

SOURCE: my dell inspiron cannot boot.

Hello,
The Operating System in your hard disk gone corrupt, you need new installation of Operating System using boot from CD/DVD.
P.S. Formating of Harddisk is recommended, because it seems the act of virus infection
Good Luck

Windows7 stuck in loop

go to a local pc repair shop and have them burn you a windows disk for your version....the license is on a sticker on your PC, the Media (or disk,) doesn't matter for licensing purposes.

You can then attempt a start-up repair. boot from the cd, choose 'repair my computer', then choose the top radio button regarding advanced startup or recovery tools.

I have a Dell Studio one desktop and monitor goes off after 2-3 seconds on startup

Wow, now that's why I don't like all in one's on anything. If one thing breaks down, you're out of all the others. OK, it sounds like your video is bad or going bad. Now if you had a regular computer it would be easy to track down the problem because all you would have to do is plug an external monitor into the computer and see if it does the same thing. I'm not sure if your all in one will allow you to attach another monitor, if it does, do it. If it does not, then you've got to suffer the consequences of an all in one and that means being without everything until the one thing is fixed.

My laptop will not turn on. It begins to start normally with the Windows screen, but goes black with just the cursor showing, then goes into a kind of sleep mode with the cursor grayed out. When I plug...

Put the Windows disk in and repair the drivers. Should be easy follow on screen instructions, if not use the DELL OEM disk to start and do repair. I have a Dell Inspirion it did this b/c of a virus. I just did a repair WIN7 and all is good now.

When ever my computer shutsdown it goes to startup repair. sometimes it works itself out. but every morning i wake up to it with the startup repair screen on

Sartup repair is some thing that tries to fix the OS issues...
Normally its of no use.. Its better if you can reinstall the OS after getting windows and taking backup of all your important files..
It should be vista or win 7 that you have on the computer then tap F8 when the computer turns on and then you will be able to see the advanced boot options.. Select repair my computer.. In the repair my computer screen select the dell factory image restore...
Your computer will go through the installation and it will be up and running...

If you are not able to do this then try to reinstall the OS with the help of a OS CD..

Try system restoring it by going to the date that it worked. Just type it in the search box on your start menu and go to it and follow directions.
