It will work for an hour ...maybe 2, then it shuts itself off. like it gets too hot or somenthing.

  • Do not block rear Fan exhaust port. A minimum of a 2 inch clearance is necessary.

  • If the Fan Exhaust port is blocked, the temperature will rise in the Engine assembly and cause a thermal switch to activate, shutting off the unit.

  • After a cool down period and the set is unplugged for greater than 30 seconds, the set will return to normal operation.

  • Upgrade to New Style bottom Filter to avoid premature clogging and over heating.

pump is protected with a thermo switch made inside the motor to shut it off if it gets to hot check for oil ports at the bearings if it dose not have them maybe try adding a ball valve and turning down the flow some to create slower flow and higher pressure

Had a simuliar problem, Bike would have a total shutdown a High Temps/Low Speeds/High RPMs. Everything would reset itself after appox 2 minutes. Everything would shutdown Electric and engine.
2 Harley dealers spent 75 hours diagnosing it, dealer could not reproduce it. Last repair was to replace battery cables. Seems to have fixed it. Have ridden 15oo miles since repair. Problem reacurred once last time I rode. Again complete shutdown bike restored after 2 minutes. Did not happen again the rest of the day over 200 miles

Shutting off and on...

the problem may be due to dry soldering in the power supply stage if it was with the lamp there would be red or green light showing the presence of the power to the tv after making it own some of the components get hot and it will make the the soldering point conectionless and after some time the heat sink get cooled and the soldering point gets connected and u will see the picture again it is a simple problem if u have a soldering iron u make it hot and re solder all the components in the first part of the circuit board and the problem if rectified
