A new remote or new Grandson? For the remote you can try Lowes or Home Depot. They have a small display of handheld remotes for ceiling fans and remotes for overhead lights. I looked up the brand and Crosswinds is carried by Lowes.
I hope my solution is very helpful and that the remote will be reasonable priced. If you had an idea to add a fan to another room you could get the second fan and try its remote on the old fan. That way you would not be spending extra dollars for just a remote.

If you have a cat, check your shoe closet because cats will place objects in their owners shoes. If you have a dog, it may have swallowed the remote. It might be worth checking.
