My 42" Plasma TV has always been plugged on the outlet. Today, I found there was no red light on the TV. I tried to unplug and re-plug, there was no power come to the TV set. I don't see there is any place for fuse replacement or other opening that I can check. Any suggestions? The red light is out tried the cablevision remote no luck, tried the Lg remote no luck. The set was not used for a week, not sure how it was turned off by a guest.Do not have amanual as it was not kept after purchase by husband. Help! The cablevision box is working as the green lights come on and move with the remote when changed
Hello,
be sure that the outlet has the power on it. else the TV got faulty in the power supply. This can be open only by authorize repairman.
so call the repairman near your location..maybe you can avail warranty on it.

Go here:
http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp
then to owners manual
then enter your model number ( 42PM3MV)
then you should be able to download the user manual.
That's for now, I'll look more into the problem, but see if this can help you for now
The fuses are inside the TV is you remove the back cover but even changing the fuse it might not work because it could have other failures in the other board assemblies.
How old is your plasma?
