    Hi.

If you are in troubles because the phone is malfunctioning, then reset base, and re-enter contacts. If the phone is working OK, there is no need to reset the base

Only bass set going extra hand set not working

Hi,

This is because the extra handset might have not been registered with the base unit. The headset should be register to use the headset with that base unit.

To register the handset to base unit please follow the instruction:-

On registration the handset is allocated a handset number for use on the new base unit, the handset numbers are 1-5.

1. Press and hold
d65e3ff.jpgon the base unit until 608a95f.jpgstarts flashing. Registration mode will remain active for approximately 3 minutes.

2.Press and hold both
19efd34.jpg together until you hear a long beep.

3.Select the base unit you wish to register by pressing the corresponding number button 1-4.
4. When PIN is displayed, enter the units PIN number (0000 for this model).
5. If the registration is successful the handset will return to standby mode in a few seconds.

The phone is dead!

Have you tried it with other batteries? The handset will be dead on the cradle regardless of juice from the wall, if the batteries are missing or no good. This unit eats batter juice quickly if left off the cradle for any length of time.

I have a doro 640/650r cordless phone, two handsets.....one of the handsets seems to have frozen up and it has 3 symbols on the face...one is a lock which stands for 'Key lock activated' and I can't figure...

Problem fixed.......after a call this morning to Doro tech support. It was a simple fix..........simply hold down the # key to lock or unlock the keypad. Unfortunately I had overlooked that section in the manual.

Doro 5065R +3 not working after replaced battery

I have replace my doro batteries with Duracell rechargeables, just make sure you fully charge them before you put them in the handset.  If you find after a time that the charge goes again, charge them again (in the charger you buy when you buy the batteries)! Hope this helps.  PS, do you know how to turn the answering machine on?

Main handset won't work; additional handsets do.

Check that you have the larger power adaptor connected to the base unit.
