I have a model 110.47532600 Kenmore washer and the door gasket is ripped. I went to the searsparts direct and could not find the part. Is there another name for it?

F22 error persists on my washer, does the door gasket have to do with it?

F22 is usually a door latch error on Kenmore washers so you are working on the right area. The door gasket rip should not cause that unless it is stopping the door from closing all the way. It is usually the door latch itself which has switches built into it that causes that error or the main board is not reading the latch operation.

Kenmore front load washer door won't latch lock light on

On some Kenmore front load models, if the black gasket around the door opening is unseated (for example, because you drag some heavy wet laundry over it) the door will not engage the lock and stay closed. This is a feature to prevent the washer from leaking when the gasket is not sealed. To fix it, simply reseat the gasket and the door will close and lock.

Kenmore HE3 washer leaking all over the floor! Only 6months-1 year old!!

You will need to remove the lower kick panel directly below the door to gain access to the inside cabinet to see where the leak may be coming from. The panel comes off by removing the screws under the bottom front edge of the panel. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off.

NOTE: Propping the two front feet of the washer up with something (a 2x4 works well for this) will give you better access to the screws.

The most common source of leakage on this washer is the rubber bellow around the door. It can develop cracks or tears over time and require replacement. A tell-tale sign is the front counterweight (looks like a concrete block on the front of the wash tub) looking wet. The counterweight will remain dry if the tub is sealed properly. From the inside of the washer, pull the rubber folds back on the door bellow and inspect the perimeter for any rips or tears. If the bellow is damaged, it must be replaced. The following link epxlains how:

If the bellow is intact, check the rear bellow seal where it connects to the front of the wash tub. If the clamp comes loose the bellow can shift and begin to leak. Tighten if necessary.

Check the drain pump and hoses to ensure they are not leaking. The drain pump is directly in the front under the wash tub.

Check the area directly below the wash tub. If the leak is coming from the wash tub iteself, you may have a bad tub seal. A replacement gasket doesn't cost much at all, but the labor involved is extensive.

Another simple problem is the dispenser tube(s) that come through the door bellow. Sometimes, these small tubes will work their way behind the rubber in the door and leak when the washer attempts to fill or rinse. This is a simple matter of adjusting the tubes to ensure they are seated through the door gasket properly.

If you have any questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Door seal ripped , model is GE Adora GHDVH670HWW. I need a part number for this seal, cant find anything anywere

This is the model that was made by GE to be sold exclusively though Home Depot stores. The cross over model is the GE WCVH6600H0BB
The tub gasket (door seal) is part number #WH08X10022 with a new substitution part #WH08X10036. However, since the GE Adora line might be slightly different, depending on the serial number which denotes when it was manufactured, you might want to confirm that the above gasket is the correct one for your particular washer.

I'd suggest you call the folks at Sears Parts Direct at 1-800-252-1698 and give them your complete model number AND serial number before you order any repair parts, so you can be certain they'll work for your washer.

It's a relatively easy repair, all you need to do is remove the nuts and washer at the top and bottom of the cabinet all around the opening (once you've opened the door) to get the counter balances off, so you can access the gasket and remove it and replace it with the new one.

Here's a line drawing that shows the exploded view of the tub section, with the gasket (item #306). Just take your time in removing and reinstalling the new gasket so as not to rip or tear it in the process. I'd also suggest you let the gasket relax for a good 4-5 hours (to get the kinks and folds out of it from the packing box) before you do the installation.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

I have a 110.47532600 washer and the door gasket is leaking (ripped) Can I buy a replacemnet

You certainly can. Searspartsdirect.com carries the part for about $64. Just type in your model number and look under the "Door and Latch Parts" section for item 1. You may also consider items 2 and 8. Item 2 is the rear bellow clamp. Item 8 is the front bellow clamp. Order only if your existing clamps are damaged or broken. If you need instructions on how to replace the bellow, the following link explains:

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

My front load kenmore washer door gasket is garbelled

Something probably got caught in the seal and pulled it out of place. If u run washer so that it fills up and starts tumbling,,, and there is no water leak,, there is a good chance u can repair this yourself. So if there is no water leaking,,, you can try and take out the bottom front panel and twisting, or shoving it back into place. If there is water leaking,,, than chances are its ripped or broken, and will need to be completely replaced
