Where do I get the lates map update to C220 - Mitac Mio C220 GPS Receiver

Mio stopped supporting the c220 in April 2007. That is latest map available.

you cna't update, only reload original from the cd that came with your gps

No, the last map Mio did for the c220 was April 2007

I hate these things but they do sync with microsoft. I was unable to find a proper driver too but did find out that MS SYNC

jus download google map in to u r phone then not only america...whole world s inside u r phone!!!

use your pc softwhere disck . up load them

put a 2gb blank sd card in a computer that accepts sd cards. transmit the map from the cd directly to the blank card. Then put the new map into the C220 and reboot by holding the "ON" button down until it reboots.

the maps are on the 1gb sd card in the side of your c220 unit.
If it's missing, get a 1gb sd card and find a computer that will accept sd cards and your cd that came with your gps, then download the maps from the cd to the sd card.
Your c220 only has 4 states on the unit itself.

The c230 has all the maps on the unit but only 1 million POIs versus 3 1/2 million on the c220

You have to find someone who bought a Mio C220 with europe maps on their cd that came with their unit. You can download map from their cd using a 1gb sd card plugged into your computer.
