PS3 region I bought a Ps3 from the USA however it will not play some blue ray discs i have bought from the UK, is there any codes to unlock this?

This may be a problem with your ps3 as they are region free. mine is from china and plays all british games fine and blu ray movies email sony @ [email protected]

Hi Naturally all PS3 Games are Region Free meaning you can buy games from any country and play them on your PS3. However Blue ray movies usually have region codes with a small exception, below is the region code based on countries.

Region A: East Asia (except Mainland China and Mongolia), Southeast Asia, North America, South America and their dependencies. Region B: Africa, Southwest Asia, Europe (except Russia), Oceania and their dependencies. Region C: Central Asia, East Asia (Mainland China and Mongolia only), South Asia, central Eurasia and their dependencies.
