Hi Penn,

My name is Ryan and I work on behalf of Cricket. Does this happen while charging the phone via power outlet? Be sure that the battery is fully charged and please try removing battery and with a clean smooth cloth, wipe the battery connection points on the battery and back of cell phone device. Replace and turn back on. If you continue to experience issues, please visit a full service corp. Cricket store location for hands and assistance.

Best,
Ryan on behalf of Cricket

Your Cricket phone is under 1 year warranty, you should bring it to a corporate / full service location (which can be found on mycricket.com if you do not know where the closest one is located) and they will determine the problem and tell you if it is covered under warranty or insurance.

It sounds like it could be your battery or charging port. If it does charge it is most likely your battery, assuming it has not been damaged in any other way.

Take your memory card out of phone. You will need to do a hard reset. This will wipe anything you have downloaded to the phone itself so keep this in mind. With phone off hold your green and red buttons down along with the volume down "at same time" until the phone powers on. This will reset your pbone back to when you first got it.

You need to reset phone. Hold green, red and volume down at same time with phone off. Make sure that if you have a memory card that you take it out first. This will clear the lock code and reset your phone to factory settings.
