Error code 05

My dvr 625 has decided that I can no longer play back any of my recordings. Get a message, please note error code 05. What, if anything, can I do.

Just talked with tech support. They'll ask you to go to the menu, then enter 6,1,3. If you scroll to the bottom of that screen and see a 4 next to the VALUE:7 then they'll send you another DVR.

DVR not working. Says to unplug for a minute, I did multiple times, still not working

kuda08rdb,

Are you still having problems with your 625 receiver? It sounds like you are getting a 024 error message. When you unplug the receiver and plug back in, do you ever get a 311 error message? If you are still having problems, the receiver may need to be replaced. I would be happy to further assist you if you would respond back to this site.

I can't pause or rewind my moveie

fktrejo,

When you try to use the DVR features, do you get an error message (024 or 311)? Have you unplugged your 625 receiver yet? If not, unplugged the receiver for about 10 seconds and plug back in. This will cause the receiver to reboot and acquire satellite signal. When the picture comes back on, try to pause. If it still doesn't work, we may need to replace the 625 receiver. I hope this helps.

I have a 61.5 system with lagacy receivers, can I replace one of the lagacy receiver with a 625 DVR.

Yes! You can definitely upgrade one of your legacy receivers to a DVR-625 receiver. I would be more then happy to assist you with this upgrade, if you decide you would in fact like to do so. In addition, since we have migrated from the 61.5 satellite orbital (no longer use 61.5), we may need to also upgrade your current satellite DISH. In order to determine what EXACTLY will be necessary for you to upgrade your system, I would need to take a look at your DISH Network account. If you'd like me to look into this further for you, please feel free to contact me directly with your information. My e-mail is [email protected]. I hope this helps & hope to hear from you soon!

Error message 24 - DVR not available

The 024 message means the hard drive itself is having problems functioning correctly. Try a hard reset where you unplug the receiver for 10-15 seconds and plug back in. If the problem persists a replacement may be necessary.

It wont let us playback one of our recorded shows. It is labeled as error code: 05

The first thing you want to do is to delte that one recording. Once its deleted make sure your other events are playing well. If all is good that just simply means that one event was corrupted. If the problem keeps happing please let me know there is also some other troubleshooting that we can do to see if its a deeper issue amybe with the hard drive.

Can I record antenaTV on my Dish PVR-625

Officially, no you would not be able to since you no longer pay the $5.98 DVR fee which Dish charges for the DVR. Wish I could have given you better news. Thanks for using Fix Ya and let me know if I can further assist you.
