I am not able to connect net after installed Windows Vista home basic as its not supporting my ADSL Modem Huawei SmartAX MT841 USB driver. And the Huawei informed that they do not have the update for the Vista. What should I do now to connect internet. Is there any appropriate Vista update for this to solve the problem. Pls give the details of the update if you can help.

Hi!
Do not use the usb port or cable. use the RJ 45 port instead. and configure PPPoE and connect using UTP / STP cable with RJ 45 connector straight crimped.
In case of lan faulty,so we need driver to install for usb port

I am not able to use my SmartAX MT841 ADSL modem on my new laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium (service pack1), as it is not able to detect driver. How do i use nternet on my laptop with same modem now? Please help.

But when I got a new laptop with pre-installed vista, it never got connected.

We are looking for USB driver for SmartAX MT841 ADSL on vista.
Simply SmartAx MT841 ADSL Huawei Modem is not Supporting Windows7 or higher version OS. It is simply struct for Windows XP which is now obselete & you will fail to find updates for this Modem from Huawei Company also as they are slept for this issue.
