I have mis-placed instructions on Wireless Weather Forecaster model 63-1090. Since replacing all batteries, I cannot get all readings to display, can't reset time/day/date, etc etc. Can I download instructions from some site?? In ENGLISH, please??? [email protected]@midwikis.com

I answered this yesterday. The service to YOUR 90005 has been withdrawn and you have to return the unit for a free replacement.

Here's the manual for the AcuRite Weather Forecaster. If it's not showing the outside temperature, make sure the A-B-C switch is set to match the display unit. As much as it sucks to do, you have to reset the base and the temperature sensor. When you do it, keep the temp sensor next to the base until the base recognizes it.

If the product appears to work, then it's most likely it's simply broken. Something responsible for lighting up the day L.C.D. isn't connecting or is shorted out. Take your receipt to place of purchase for a new one. Not many pros can fix just the Day part of LCD displays; the expense outweighs the cost of a new one.

One thing to consider is these types of LCD read-outs are sensitive to water. Did you get it wet, or place it in a very steamy room (shower, clothes drier) ?
That would explain the problem but my advise is still the same. If receipt is gone, sell it at a Flea Market; caveat emptor (Latin for marketplace law, "Let the Buyer beware" - you needn't necessarily tell anyone the Day is broken and you can use the proceeds towards a new one, lol!
