Hello a couple of our stove tops rings intermittently work and now one has stopped working altogether. The light comes on but the ring does not heat up. Any advice? Thanks so much

Sounds like the control board needs to be tested for any communication errors and possibly replaced.

get in an electricians to check what looks good but isn't

the regulator is faulty you will have to fit a new one fairly easy task let me know if you want more help

Is the fan working in the oven if not then check if the clock needs resetting.If the fan is working then it is more likely that the ring element around the fan has failed.Check also if the thermostat light comes on,this is an indication it may be ok.

I dont know your model but generally the problem would be that the ring element around the fan has blown or less likely the thermostat has failed.Normally if you can see the light on the control for the oven temperature control light up and can hear a click from it as you turn up or down the the thermostat should be ok.You will have to get the ring element out and check with a multi-meter if it is blown and replace.

Hard to know...First thing I'd check is the power supply to the unit.  Turn off both breakers.  Check wiring all the way through for tightness.  Turn both breakers on.  Next, you'll need to check the elements for continuity...with the power off.

it sounds like it burnt one of your main wires in the back of range. by turning a knob on you are getting a feed back. turn the power off remove back panel take a visual check of your wiring.
