Oh wow! Either delete all 4 devices online and reprogram it making sure to hit the "sync" function or whatever function is provided to complete the process online, or take it back to your dealer for clarification or refund.

Open Harmony 659

1) you must open the r.control, and clean the keypads switch contacts from oxide, dirty, corrosion.
2) remember this switch work in matrix design, that send signa infrared to the microcontroller from devide, if the signal is not ok the device will not work , since the microcontroller will NOT interprete any signal, and consequently BAD signal will not Work for the CPU.

God bless you

Turn off dbfb without remote for sony md373

Sad, but true: without a remote it won't work. Had the same problem. Logetech Harmony 300 solved it in my case for a hcd ed1a. You can choose any sony device with a dfbf function. strangely for my modell logitech didn'nt support the bass boost function. so i searched for another version and found str-d511. with this device everything worked fine and i was able to switch the dbfb function off. you have to ad the bass boost function button manually. logitech harmony calls it bass boost, instead of sony dbfb. than ad this button to your device and you should be able to turn dbfb off.

I have a logitech Harmony 890 remote. The battery

To check to see if your device is controlled by a RF (radio frequency) or IR (infrared) remote:

Power the device on manually

Cover the front of the original remote that came with the device with your hand

Press any button on the remote that you know the device would respond to normally

If the device responds even when your hand is covering the front of the remote, the remote is RF and the device cannot be controlled by the Harmony remote

Another test that can be performed is using digital camera:

Using any digital camera, even one on a cell phone, camcorder or webcam, look through the screen of the camera at the front of the remote

Press a few buttons on the original remote

If you see flashes of light as illustrated, the remote is IR and the Harmony can control it. If the remote does not flash, this original remote is an RF remote and the device cannot be controlled by the Harmony remote

For comparison, try the same steps with a remote control that you know is working correctly, such as the original remote for the TV, or DVD player. You should see the IR emitters flashing when performing this test.

Blank screen on logitech harmony 520 remote

If the firmware didnt help, then it is a hardware issue. You probably got water in the battery compartment or something.

Anyway you should call Logitech support for a warranty claim. Or, you can do it by taking a look at the following link:

Changes 2 channels at a time

I can help you with your Logitech Harmony 890 remote control.

The Logitech Harmony 890 remote control is programmed through the
Harmony Windows Setup Software.

I recommend resetting it up with your components to get rid of the two channel problem.

Once installed, you will simply run the program and select the devices you would like to control from menus. This program finds the right codes for you and loads them into your remote control.

You can get a copy of the Harmony 890 Manual by clicking here.

I hope that helps.
