There are a couple of things that could cause this.
1. The hoses on the back for the washer are reversed, The hot water hose is connected to the cold water faucet.
2. The hot water hasnt reached your washer when you're feeling the temperature. Let it run for a minute or so and test it again.
3.Your water heater isnt working. Check to see the water is hot from your heater.

Hot water fills with hot and cold not strictly hot what is the fix

see the causes: and proceed with common sense. God bless you
Some washing machines allow hot water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally. If you're sure the machine isn't working the way it used to--or should--try these tests: Is the hot water turned on? If not, turn it on. Is the washer getting cold water but no hot water? If so, check to see if the control panel settings are correct. Is there hot water coming through the proper hose? If not, check to see if the screen inside the water-inlet valve is clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If it's clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, completely replace it.

I have a hot water circulator when i turn on the cold water hot water comes out for about 30 seconds before the cold water will come out. What could be causing this?

This is could be because the system is set up to use the cold water line as the return to the HWH.

Hot water recirculation systems generally consist of a pump, an integrated electronic controller, and a zone valve. When the activation button is pushed, or when another type of control turns the system on, the pump starts recirculating cooled water that's been sitting in the hot water line and sends it back to the water heater through the cold water line.

If you would like..Google "hot water re-circulation theory"...it further explains this senario.

I only have hot water going into the machine on all the settings.

You need to verify that the cold water is actually flowing through the cold/hot water shut off valve at the wall/floor first. If you are getting water flow at the supply side of the house, it is likely that the washing machine has a defective water inlet valve.

It is possible that it is a very simple problem to fix, such as a wiring plug not connected to the cold water inlet valve (solinoid), but since this is a new machine, you should have the issue handled with the warranty service. If this was a used machine you purchased, then by all means do some investigation to see if you can locate the issue.

Start with the basics by making sure the water is actually getting through the house supply valve and through the washer hoses. By the way, you should change supply hoses whenever you get a new machine, since a broken hose can easily cause extensive damage should it fail. Most manufacturers are now recommending that owners replace their washer supply hoses every 5 years.

OK, if the water is flowing throught the valve and hose, and when you reconnect the hose to the washer and turn it on and you aren't getting any water into the machine, if you hear a humming sound, then the valve is likely getting power but could be defective or has failed. There is no "flap" only a solinoid that cycles a piston back and forth to either let let water flow into the machine or shut the water supply off. Other than that, there shouldn't be anything else preventing the water from getting into the tub.

You cant seal off the inlet, but you can get a Y adapter, its a hose that splits into 2 outlets. They are most often used to hook up steam dryers but will work for wha you need, this will allow you to use it but it will not get the best cleaning results

My Atlantis Oversize Capacity Washer is the problem. When I select a Warm/Cold wash the water starts out warm, then kicks into hot water. So then I have to hit the Warm/Cold button over and over as it fill...

The temp is controlled by a thermistor to make sure the warm water is warm. If the incoming cold is too cold, or the incoming hot is not hot enough, it will compensate by turning off the cold until the temp comes up, then it should turn the cold back on. Make sure the hot supply is to the hot water valve. If the hoses are backwards it won't work right either. Or you may have a bad solenoid in the water valve. It's possible for a water valve to work when it's cold, but as electricity runs through it, the solenoid heats up and causes it to open electrically which will close it mechanically and turn the water off. Usually if this is the case it won't open again for at least 10 minutes until the solenoid cools down enough.
