I am not certain about this specific battery, however, if many batteries are unused for a long period of time, they can not be rejuvenated.
Try the switch in each position for 24 hours and if there is no action, it is probably not worth repairing.

I need a charger for my Dust Buster.

You don't need an actual charger that says Dust Buster on it. You can use any charger of the same voltage from some other gadget. Most are 9 volt. Not all, but many are. Just look on the dust buster tag & see what it requires. Some stores like Radio Shack even sell the charger with several adapters..One sure to fit your Dust Buster. Good Luck. This is a pic of one that is $13 at Walmart.

How do I get more batteries for a dust buster?

You have 3 options:
1. You could do a search under the part number of the machine for a parts break out diagram.
2. Open the vacuum, and do a search for the battery when you see the part number on the old battery.
3. Call the manufacturer for assistance.

Black and decker handheld vacuum phv1800 type 1 low battery power

Hi I know what you mean! My B&D dust buster used to do this too. The hi power boost means that it can only be used for a limited amount of time. Due to the age of the dust buster though its a sign that the battery is on its way out and regardless of whether or how long its been used or not used, batteries can lose power regardless.
Try to let the dust buster completely lose power and then charge it up for its initial burn in period of 14 hours. Also clean the connection metal strips or hole with a dry cotton bud incase there's any static or dust. Then see if it lasts longer. If the turbo mode or speed 2 is still short, then the battery is dying out.
I don't know where you are but in the UK its hard to get battery replacements for B&D products. You could check your local seller where you are if they have battery replacements but at the cost of current dustbusters it may make more economic sense to consider buying a new dustbuster.

I have a 7.2V Dust Buster Black and Decker cordless vacuum and we have lost the little filter inside it.
Where can I buy it?

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Please include the brand name and model #
A lot of your local vacuum cleaner dealers carry the Black and Decker filters depending on the model #’s and I will post a few phone #’s listed below so you can order a filter. But 1st always check with your local vac dealer. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
