I think, that Outlook is much better as an email service.
That's why I've transferred to it months ago and do not regret about it.
It is a wise decision to keep your backup copies on a separate place other than your main computer. Sadly though, many Yahoo backup software make it too painfully long and elaborate for anyone to set such a system up. Manually copying the file to a USB every time you go through a Yahoo mail backup technically works, but is missing the point of your data security. So, if you need to copy the backup to USB and keep it synced, Mail Backup X will delight you. It supports auto-USB backup and sync. Just set it up once by specifying the address of the USB. The rest is totally automated by the software and works perfectly on subsequent backups of Yahoo mail. Every time you connect the USB, Mail Backup X will detect it and copy the backup data flawlessly. Developed by InventPure, it is the only Yahoo backup software that features this option in a frictionless way that does not demand users of complicated setups. Similarly, there are other powerful features that can make your task of Yahoo backup more accurate, efficient, and safe, and you can check all of them freely using the trial version.

If you haven't signed in to your Yahoo! Mail account in over three
months, your free account will be deactivated. If this happens, in
order to access Business Mail, you must reactivate your Yahoo! Mail
account. When you try and sign in to your free Yahoo! Mail account,
Yahoo! Mail should give you the option of reactivating your account.
Select the "Reactivate your Yahoo! Mail address" radio button to
continue using your free Yahoo! Mail account.
If the previous is not possible, you have the option of creating a new Yahoo Mail account.
For future reference, you can open an AOL email account. When you first activate your AOL account you will be asked if you want to import all of your contacts and information from another account. (Like yahoo mail for example) Click yes and follow the prompts. This is a good backup method to store your contacts and other information.
