Doug then you could have received a bad battery or you have a charger problem or a charger circuit problem. If the chair comes on then the wiring is ok. when you plug the charger in do you have a green light and a yellow light on the charger? (when fully charged the light goes from yellow to green indicating full charge) If when you plug the charger in and you have a red and green light then there is a problem with the charging citcuit. I would contact your provider where you got the chair to have them check it out for you Hope this helps

SOURCE: jazzy select 14 won't charged - have replaced

At a minimum your batteries need to be charged for 12 hrs a day for the first month if not they will not build the capacity and will dwindle and die for example it is at only 25% capacity it says it fully charged but will die quickly this happens because it is charged to its full capacity but that is only 25% of the batteries true potential resulting in short battery life. Also the new batteries need to be charged before they are put on your jazzy. Then its a matter of if not in use put on charge. I think you need to have a word with your dealer.

SOURCE: Battery fully charged chair levers engaged to

Has your scooter been sitting idle for several weeks, or has it been connected to the charger 24 hours a days for a long time? If so, the batteries may have become damaged and will give you enough power to turn the controller on but not enough to make the motors run.
If the lights come on and are steady, the manual brake levers are in the drive position and the chair still will not move, I recommend replacing the batteries. If anything else were wrong, either the lights would flash or not come on at all.
I hope this information is helpful to you, good luck!

Why is my Jazzy discharging?

Either the batteries are faulty, or you have parasitic drawer. The most likely place is one of the motors. The draw can be measured with an ammeter. Disconnect the motors one at a time and anything else that might be drawing power, console, controller etc. When you disconnect the one that is drawing power, the ammeter will show it.

My battery charger for my Jazzy 600 does not light up or get warm when I plug it in. The chair has not been used for months.

I tried to charge my jazzy. The charge light (red) remained on for several hours. Finally I moved the wire slightly the charge light turned green than faded to red. What is my problem? Your solution would be greatly appreciated.

The batteries will not charge. The ammeter does not move, just stays at 0 all the time. I pulled the connectors off the ammeter and there is 24 volts going to the ammeter. Not sure if the meter is bad or the...

It is an AMP Meter (Amperes) and AMP's are relative to CURRENT, not Voltage. Voltage measurements are read by a VOLT Meter. W=Watts or work units. Like a 40 Watt Bulb. R=Resistance. If the Battery fails to charge, it is due to the cells degradation as they only last so long. From what you wrote, I assume you need to replace the Battery.

My jazzy 600 chair was working fine. Now I cannot go up or down a simple ramp. The chair works just fine until the ramp hits wheels then the chair shuts off and leaves me stuck. Please any help is...

have the batteries checked, there are two gel cell 12 volt batteries, that if one or both will not hold a charge, they will fail on incline as the load on the chair is greater going up hill. Test this out by trying a hill near your house. I had to change one of the batteries in another model Pride that my wife uses for the same problem. The one battery would not hold a charge.
