You are in big trouble! You will wait months to get the part from Behringer. Here is link to similar itrem from Digikey.com. Search for keyword "fused entry"

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=708-1332-ND

This may or may not be the exact match and they have several similar types. You will have to buy the whole power entry unit as finding the exact "fuse drawer" is not likely.

I believe you shoukd use a 6.3 amp fuse in the unit and the size to fit the fuse drawer in the entry unit,

Where is the fuse located on the marshal amplifier MG series 100 DFX 100

  • fuse on the Marshall MG100DFX amplifier is located on the back panel of the amplifier, near the power cord.
To access the fuse, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Unplug the amplifier from the power source.
  2. Locate the fuse holder on the back panel, near the power cord.
  3. Use a flathead screwdriver or other similar tool to gently pry open the fuse holder.
  4. Carefully remove the fuse from the holder by pulling it straight out.
  5. Inspect the fuse to see if it is blown or damaged. If the filament inside the fuse is broken or the fuse is discolored, it may be blown.
  6. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same rating. The Marshall MG100DFX amplifier uses a 2A, 250V slow-blow fuse.
  7. Insert the new fuse into the holder and press it down until it clicks into place.
  8. Close the fuse holder by gently pressing it back into place.
Once you have replaced the fuse, plug the amplifier back into the power source and turn it on to see if it is functioning properly. If the amplifier still does not work, you may need to have it serviced by a qualified technician.

Where is the fuse located in the Marshall amplifier mg100dfx

The fuse in a Marshall MG100DFX amplifier is located on the rear panel of the amplifier, near the power cord.
To access the fuse, you will need to unplug the amplifier from the power source, and then locate the fuse holder, which is a small, cylindrical component with a cap that screws off. The fuse holder should be labeled with the appropriate fuse rating for your amplifier.
Once you have located the fuse holder, you can unscrew the cap and remove the old fuse. You can then replace it with a new fuse of the same rating, and screw the cap back on securely.
It's important to note that if your amplifier blows a fuse, it may be an indication of a more serious issue, such as a short circuit or a problem with the power supply. If you replace the fuse and the amplifier continues to blow fuses, it may be necessary to have it serviced by a professional technician.

Why does the 1.6amp fuse blow when the amplifier is switched on?

The owners manual shows a AC fuse for the 8300 as 8amp / 250 volts but doesn't show an external fuse holder for the 8600d. It's unlikely that the 8300 would use a 8amp and your 8600 a 1.6 amp. Double check your original fuse values.

I believe I only need the cap that flush mounts on the back of the pmp 3000, not the whole interior fuse holder.

Sorry, but the fuse "boat" is not readily available. You USUALLY have to buy the whole holder... the whole thing is around $3 from Digikey.com. Many are manufactured by SCHURTER.

Where can I replace a fuse holder for a pmp 3000. Is this mixer the worst piece of **** mor what. Seems all they do is malfunction.

moz-screenshot-2.pngBuy this kind pf fuse holder is very easy to install. But rememnber you have to desolder the old one, solder extension wire to the board and to the new fuse holder. Make sure the new fuse holder meets the standard of the old one. And of course can hold the right fuse for your machine.

Fuse and fuse holder needed for Behringer 3000 pmp mixer

Try this Behringer support:

BEHRINGER USA, Inc.
18912 North Creek Parkway, Suite 200
Bothell, WA 98011
Tel.: +1 425 672 0816
Fax: +1 425 673 7647

I just repaired a PMP3000.

A bit of warning on these. Do not let a speaker leads get pulled while powered. They can arc out the power amp causing extensive damage.

If the fuse ever blows do NOT replace the fuse as much more damage will result. Service the unit before using.

I need a fuse and fuse holder for my Behringer pmp 3000 mixer

It sounds like you need just the fuse carrier...

This is as close as I can find:

http://mouser.com/ProductDetail/Schurter/62002300/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMv1TUPJeFpwblxZ%252bgbqW48rbR6t5kzh87o%3d

The only way to get exact is to go through Behringer or get an exact part number and manufacturer.

Disassembling your unit to get at the part would be a lot of work. I have repaired three of these and am familiar with the unit.

Is there a circuit breaker

There should be a fuse holder near the place in the back of the amp where the power cord plugs in. Also some Marshalls have fuses in fuse holders on the circuit board. Always replace with the same value and type as the original fuse. Never open up the amp when it is plugged in to the outlet. When replacing the internal fuses do not touch the capacitors as they retain a lethal charge. If the fuse continually blows it is an indication of a more serious problem which will require servicing by a qualified repair person.
