Hi, my laptop charger has been getting very temperamental - if it was plugged in and i moved the cable slightly, it would stop charging and run on the battery. This has eventually been getting worse, and I would have to put something under the cable, to hold it a the right angle, so that it would charge the laptop.
Now when I plug in the cable, it doesnt even charge! I have tried wiggling it and twisting it in every direction, but it wont chargfe and now I cant turn the laptop on... I have been using the original charger that initially came with the laptop when I brought it new in Jan 05.
How can I fix this? Do I need a new charger? or is it the actual battery?
Please help!
It has happened to me as well since i have the exact same model laptop. The problem is a loose cable or the wire inside is damaged. I just bought a new charger since buying one is cheaper than taking the risks that the repair might cause a short after using it for some time.
