Cannot configurate this router.Can you help me?

Hello there, is it a TP-LINK router? If so it should come with a CD which will help you to configure it automatically.
Just boot the CD and connect your router through ethernet cable and the software will detect your router and help you configure it step by step. Hope this helps

Not unless you made a backup configuration file. So unfortunately you will need to reconfigure your wireless router. The main points you should configure are...

• Change the default password to login to your router configuration
  
• Change the SSID (optional)
• Enable wireless security WPA2 / PSK (keep out unauthorized users)

You can configure it manually or download the utility from Linksys / Cisco website which will walk you through the configuration.

Check DHCP/Manual IP configuration at both ends. I think Router is configured for manual IP configuration and Laptop is configured DHCP.

cisco routers make use of an IOS software for configurations.

you have to connect the router to a computer system through an hyper terminal program in order to access the router command interface,there is no way you will be able to configure this router without having cisco configurations knowledge.

the steps could be complex/complecated for a novice.but all the same,

after running the hyper terminal program on your computer to connect the router(start-accessories-communication-hyper terminal) make sure you use cisco serial cable or a cat5e roll over cable.

press the enter key once and type 'enable' then press enter,

configure terminal,to take you to a global configuration mode.

i will advice that you should contact a cisco person in your area for help

2. if router is not configured if u want to configure through console use blue color cable connect to router came with router

make sure you have the wireless lan activated(software/hardware) and also configure your router's wireless setting(connecting thelaptop to the router by ethernet cable).write the wireless configuration down and configure your laptop with the same SSID and WEP key.it shud connect and you shud able to be good to goo..don'tforget to configure your DSL to therouter.post your router/modem/ISP details for further help
