Fig. Fig. 16: Removing the seal from the housing using a suitable prying tool

  1. Remove the cotter pin, lockwasher and spring washer from the front axle ends.
  2. Have a helper apply the service brakes and loosen the front axle hub retaining nut.
  3. Raise and support the front of the vehicle on jackstands.
  4. Remove the hub nut, washer and wheel assembly. Drain transaxle fluid.

The speedometer drive pinion must be removed from the transaxle housing before the right side drive axle can be removed. Remove the retaining bolts and lift the pinion with cable connected from the housing.
  1. Remove the clamp bolt that secures the ball joint stud with the steering knuckle.
  2. Separate the ball joint from the knuckle by prying downward against the knuckle connecting point and the control arm. Take care not to damage the rubber boot.
  3. Separate the outer CV-joint (Constant Velocity) splines from the steering knuckle hub by holding the CV housing and pushing the knuckle out and away. If resistance is encountered, use a brass drift and hammer to gently tap the outer hub end of the axle. Do not pry on the outer wear sleeve of the CV-joint.
  4. After the outboard end of the drive axle has been removed from the steering knuckle, support the assembly and pull outward on the inner CV-joint housing to remove the assembly from the transaxle.

WARNING Do not pull on the shaft or the assembly will disconnect. Pull only on the inner CV-joint housing.
  1. Remove the halfshaft from under the vehicle and service as necessary.

To install:
  1. When installing the halfshaft, hold the inner joint assembly by its housing, align and guide the shaft into the transaxle or intermediate shaft assembly.
  2. Lubricate the outer wear sleeve and seal with multi-purpose grease. Push the steering knuckle outward and install the splined outer shaft into the drive hub.
  3. Install the steering knuckle assembly. Tighten the ball joint clamp bolt to 70 ft. lbs. (95 Nm). Tighten the hub nut (splined shaft nut) to 180 ft. lbs. (250 Nm). Refill the transaxle with the proper lubrication fluid.

If after installing the axle assembly, the inboard boot appears collapsed, vent the boot by inserting a thin round rod between the boot and the shaft. Massage the boot until is expands. Install a new clamp to prevent dirt from entering the boot.

Dryer run but no heat

Try pushing the reset button located inside the dryer housing. (Remove top, then outer housing 'wrap around', reset button is behind the outer 'wrap around' metal in the front of the dryer.)

I am trying to open the outer casing of the vacuum

There is a push in type flat plastic switch trim cover over the metal housing surrounding the switch.. You must unplug the cord, gently pry around the trim cover and you will find a screw, an irregular one underneath holding the switch in place. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN when reinstalling this one or you will crack the switch.

Once removed the rear housing will come off. Then you will see several new philips round head screws holding the front housing onto the vac. With all screws removed the housing should open easily but there may be dirty film inside holding the halves together. The fan shaft will unscrew revealing the fan, a spacer behind and perhaps two different spacer washers. Install the new fan hand tight, washers and spacers in same order...
Good effort figuring this one out. Please post back with results.

Broken outer Mini Display

Well to replace the lcd first you need a new one and the proper screwdrivers to open it,usually when you get a new lcd it will be one piece with inside display and outer display,i have not opened the phone in question before but they all seem to have the same method, there should be 4 screws on the inside of the housing around the lcd, usually a t6 screw driver will work once you get these screws out you will need somthing thin like a credit card to seperate the housing.Ok now you should have the outer housing off and looking at your lcd.there is going to be one or two flex cables attached to it these disconnect easy once disconnected all you have to do is using tweezers or somthing get the lcd out the big display part will have a plastic covering that is stuck to the front if you remove this you could just push your lcd out from the bottom if you dont you will just have to play around till you get it out.then you just pop your new one in connect the flex cable(s) and put your housing back on

My screen on my lg kg800 is scratched how can i replace it with a new one

is the actual screen inside scratched or is the outer phone housing screen cover scratched? There is a difference. The actual LCD screen is inside the phone housing and is protected by the phones housing. If the actual LCD screen somehow was scratched it can be replaced very easily and usually inexpensively. Try Ebay for the LCD. If the phones outer clear housing is scratched you can also replace the housing either by purchasing the same phone used and using its housing or some "dummy" phones can be used for there housings also. If the scratch is not really bad I have used rubbing compound to remove fine scratches, good luck!
