During washing phase, the rotator is not moving - but you can hear the motor trying to move

Try rotating the spray arms by hand. It should rotate freely. If possible clean the arm rotating place by removing them.

Arms rotate by by pump pressure only. finally check the water pump also.

What made you replace the motor? Sounds also like a transmission problem. You motor reversing in spin but gears for agitate stripped in gearbox. Double check motor/coupling alignment. Pull the motor back off and turn the gearbox drive shaft both directions. One direction makes the basket turn, the other direction makes the agitator turn. If the agitator does not move, the gear case is bad.

I am sure this is not what you want to hear but is sounds as if your washing machine motor is not turning hence your hearing the unit attempt to start and the armature is locked, Make sure the unit is unplugged reach underneath the front left side of the bottom of your washer and push the pully toward the cent of your washer at a 45 deg pushing point. The motor assy is supposed to glide. If it glides the try rotating the motor by hand. If the motor rotates reach to the lower rt side of your unit and try to rotate the pump by hand. If this rotates freely attempt to restart your unit again. I would like to know the results at this point before going any further. .

Clicking noises are most often associated with bra wires , sticking in between the drums , have a good look all around the inner tub with a torch if you spot a wire sticking through carefully pull it out with pliers but dont loose it , once it goes all the way through it is neccesery to completely dismantle tub assy to remove it.

TRY TURNING THE DRUM BY HAND IF IT DOES NOT MOVE YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BAD MOTOR IF IT MOVES VERY EASILY YOU HAVE A BROKEN BELT. IF IT MOVES WITH SOME RESISTANCE TRY CHECKING THE VOLTAGE AT THE MOTOR IT BE A BAD WIRE

Hi, this motor has faulty windings, causing it to lock up and not rotate the drum/basket. replace this motor asap if possible.

Start checking the lid switch, if this is stuck the machine wont start.

If the drum does not move at all, the motor, the motor control unit, the motor coupler, the control board may be faulty.

Check the lid switch first.. if that's ok..then you may have a broken drive belt or the load is too great for the waher to move it.. Do you hear the motor spinning but the drum isn't rotating? Or is it just not doing anything during the spin cycle? Hope that helps..

Looks like the bearings may have failed. TURN OFF the POWER and try and rotate the agitator/tub by hand. If it is jammed you should investigate why. Possibly caused by bearing failure or something wound around spindle.

Take care and do not attempt to investigate the problem without first disconnecting from the mains!

Sounds like the spin coil/brake solenoid is burnt out or broken. This is a coil situated on the motor plate under the machine with a lever attatched to it. When the machine goes into spin cycle, this solenoid pulls the brake away from the outer drum to allow the drum and agitator to spin together. The shaft that goes into this coil should move in and out freely. If tight, replace spin coil/brake solenoid.
