I called the local Fossil Outlet in Lancaster, PA and got them to explain how to change the time. By phone they are 717 396-0823
There are four buttons on the watch.
Press the set-el botton once followed by the mode button once and this will put you into the condition to make adjustments. Each time you press the mode button a different adjustment can be made....so you go from hour to minute and so on
Once you get to the adjustment you want to make you use the right two buttons to increase or decrease the setting

I have a Fossil DQ 1138 and I cannot set the time or date.

You can get instructions for your watch from the Fossil web site.

Go to "fossil.com", go to the bottom of the page and you will see a
menu, click on "customer care", and then look under "Product Info" on
the left and you will see "watch instructions"

Click on this and a list of diagrams and watch descriptions will appear. Put your cursor over any of the descriptions and a diagram of the watch face will appear. Search the list until yours appears and download.

Trying to set the time and date on my fossil dq-1128 watch. help!

mcdevito75 here, Press the mode button, you may have to hold it down a couple of seconds, once you see the display flashing press set for each function, after each function is set press mode to move to the next function, hour, minute, day etc. Once all functions are set press mode for steady display. NOTE, the mode button could be a small dimple not far from the winder crown, use a tooth pick to presss this dimple in.

Fossil ch 2470 watch. I have no idea what the extra little dials are for on the face and how to set them. Please help

The dials are part of a Chronograph (stop watch) I assume there is a second, minute, and maybe a date function. Usually the large second hand is part of the stop watch on only moves when you start the stopwatch (top right button) push again to stop and reset back too zero is the bottom button. Usually to set or zero out those dials pull out the crown to the first click (also sets date) then push the top button to set the seconds (big hand) and the bottom button to set the other. sometimes you may need to pull the crown out to the second click (also sets hour and minutes) to set add'l dials. This is generally how you set most chronograph watches the button you push and what moves may be different.

Second hand not working

The second hand is the little dial at the bottom. The one in the main part of the watch is for the stopwatch portion of the watch. It is a little screwy
