Check for a MUTE button on both the television and the Dish Remote.

Or Disconnect both the television and the Dish Decoder for 15 minutes to reset.

I will list here for you the best codes for the 6.4 IR/UHF remote and the instructions for addressing the remote as well. Instructions for addressing your remote to your TV

1. Turn the Television On
2. Press and Hold the TV mode button until all the other mode buttons (i.e SAT, AUX etc.) light up.
3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
4. Press the pound (#) button once. Note: The LED will flash three times.
5. Test functionality with the TV
6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

The remote code should be either 033 or 045. If neither of those work then unfortunately there is no support for the device on the big button remote. However, please give them a try, and then reply to let me know what you find and I will contact radio shack to see if they know of any others.

Remotes are set to the DVD recorder in the REMOTE. It is difficult to control a DVD recorder with a universal remote except for basic functions. The remote manual needs to list the DVD Recorder or a similar Funai model to control it. Try different Funai codes from your remote book. One might work for minimal stop, play, pause, etc.

• Remotes: Multiple Mode Buttons (TV,VCR, AUX)
  1. Press and hold the desired Mode button until all mode button backlights come on, then release.
  2. Use the number buttons to enter the device code corresponding to the equipment. AUX Mode: Before entering the device code:
     • Press 0 for a TV
     • Press 1 for a VCR/DVD
     • Press 2 for any other device.
  3. Press the pound (#) button Note: The light will blink off after each digit is entered and then return to a steady light.
  4. Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
