Hello Kim, we're sorry to hear about your Washer. We recommend disconnecting power from the breaker for at least a minute and then turning the breaker back on to do a master reset on the Washer. If you are in need of help after trying the reset, can you please email us your address, phone number, the model and serial number, the website you were contacted on, Fixya, your review ID, and date of purchase to [email protected]?

The screen is blank. I left the washer unpluged for 5 minutes and the screen is still blank. Any advice? Thanks...

Without model or manufacturer, little can be done to answer question. Usually there is a name plate on the back of the machine. Call a washer repair service is another altenrative

My self-cleaning oven has been on for 2 1/2 hours. Is that too long? If so, shouldn't it turn off automatically. Please advise.

If the model number you listed this question under is correct, the Clean cycle time NORMALLY takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes. You can adjust the cleaning cycle time between 3 hours and 5 hours and 59 minutes, using the HOUR and MIN pads. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, and the oven temperature cools to a safe temperature, the latch can be opened.

These instructions are listed on page 24 of the owner's manual. If you no longer have an owner's manual, you can obtain a FREE copy at managemylife.com. For your convenience, here's a direct link:

Calypso washer stops/runs every 5 - 30 seconds in the middle of any washing cycle. No error codes. It just stops and than runs again all the time and cannot finish any washing cycle. It is 8 years...

I had the same problem. The washer control board has an intermittent failure. If you unplug power for about 30 minutes then plug it back in you will get a PF code (power failure). Ignore this code and push start again. It may run till it finishes the cycle or it may start cycling again right away. A new board costs about $180 at repairclinic.com

My GE Profile Washing Machine Keeps Stopping

Repair requires replacement of the transmission / break assembly. Unless you are really attached to this machine, it's time for a new machine. Average life of a washer is about 11 years doing 8 loads per week. Look into the front load machines, which use about 1/4 the water and spin about twice as fast, and are gentle on fabrics while cleaning very well. Please don't bother rating this, as non FixYa ratings drop my rating, and I'm sure you don't want to shoot the messenger.

3 audible beeps every 20-25 seconds

Try unplugging the washer for about 20 minutes then plug back in and use. I have found that this actually works! The only thing I can figure out is that it takes time for the electronic control to clear. If that doesn't fix the problem I would call sears tech since it is less than a year old. They have a 1-2 year warranty.
