1st You download Webcam Driver.
installed web cam philips
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.
Go here! Works just fine.

Philips Webcam SPC110NC doesnt work with Yahoo Messenger as advertised. Packaging says it works with MSN/Yahoo/AIM, but when troubleshooting Yahoo IM using AMCAP.EXE (as per Yahoo's webcam help page), it shows color space/compression used by this product is MJPG and this is the only option. Yahoo IM only supports RGB 24, I420, or IYUV.

Installed SPC110NC and it installed the driver, but the screen is black when I use it in Yahoo Messenger. Device Manager shows successful installation. Uninstalled & reinstalled several times with same results.
it does fine off line but when you try to invite some one to view your cam it just shows a black screen abut it also shows transmiting but no vido

i am having the same problem with my philips spc110nc webcam it work great under "my computer" but in a chat it is black and under prefrences it say i have no bandwidth. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled several times all turning up the same problem. PHILIPS TALK TO ME YOU SENT ME THE SAME STUFF YOU READ ON THE SIGHT I AM SMART ENOUGH TO GO READ THAT WHY WOULD I NEED TO ASK YOU IF THAT WORKED.... AND I SEE A FEW PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM SO I KNOW IT ISNT SOMETHING I AM DOING. WE WANT THE SCOOP.

just bought the Phillips SPC110NC Webcam. Works great offline, but only shows black screen

I too can see my self fine when I go to My Computer and go to the cameras icon and click the left mouse and click Open, but when i test my camera with yahoo messenger I see a black screen. Also when my friend connects with me on Yahoo Mess. I see her but she sees only a black screen.
I have the same problem everyone else does, I get a black screen when trying to connect to Yahoo IM or any other IM service.
