You will get the GPRS settings for Samsung Punch from the cellular operator itself. Please call the customer care of your cellular operator and they will SMS you all the settings for using GPRS on the Samsung Punch.

just break it

dial: `*#4777*8665#` then select detach gprs.

you should call the samsung office and tell them to disable the GPRS in your Omnia pro.
then it will work properly

You need to contact your service provider to get the settings for GPRS.Call them and tell your mobile model number they will send you the settings. please save this settings and make it has default and you can use the GPRS.

For samsung SGH-E250 the right setup is:

1: *#4777*8665#, go to GPRS settings
2: Highlight "GPRS Detach" then press select
Once after this setting, EDGE will off when the phone is idle.
it wll save you battery
