My syncmaster 730MW used to take some mins before coming on..then it got to an hour, now it gone of completely what do i do?

More than likely the temperature sensor has gone bad. If the unit is under warranty I would contact the dealer...otherwise you need to replace the sensor.

On your tv you have cooling fans on the back side you will need to check to make sure that they are running. Lay your tv on the bed take off back cover (it's not hard) and used some air-in-the- can to remove dust from the back! If you need a fan go to Partstore.com (1-866-925-PART

It can be cold solder joints in the power supply/inverter board, tha will be the first palce to look, also look for bad caps.

The power supply board is defective that's why the TV won't power up. Its receiving power but it cannot transfer the current to the necessary part of the TV because a capacitor, diode, etc may have been faulty. Until these bad components are replaced, the TV might not come on.

If you know about TV repairers, I would suggest that you open the TV and read the power board/panel with a meter, detect the bad component and replace it. Take note that TV stores a lot of current that can shock, so leave the TV for a while before you open it.

If you don't know about TV repairers, take the TV to the nearest repairman to fix the fault for you.

Take care.

Your best bet is take it straight back and get a replacement or refund.

If you want to try and fix this it can be done at the dealers ,try a new battery

or try a different charger.

There`s one more thing for not being able to turn the phone on.
Try charging the phone until it has stopped charging.Connect the charger and charge for 2.5 hours.The battery icon might not appear until the phone has charged for 30 mins.

If you can make out a faint image then the fault is a backlight problem.
The fault could be an inverter board or the CCFL lamp/s

I had the same problem. Hold the menu button in for 5-10 seconds and it will unlock.
