Re download program, probably download was incomplete.

If you are using Vista, when installing it don't double click installing software file, click right mouse button on top of installer file and chose 'Run as Administrator'.

If it does not work se this software Perfect Uninstaller to remove current installation and reinstall.

All you need to do is remove the incomplete program which is not installed correctly, try to remove it in the safe mode and then go in c:\programfiles\adobe and remove the folder,

Then once you reboot the computer back to the normal mode you can install the program back. That should take care of the issue.

Photoshop file info data cannot be read. How to fix it?

hi,
when you have your document opened, look every layer to find little yellow triangle(s), witch means that there is a problem with this(those) layer(s), it can be (more often) the text layers that have fonts that you don't have installed, or a reference file that has been moved from original path.
hope you'll solve that !
cheers

Cannot uninstall or install HP scanjet G2410

I tried all the "decent" uninstall solutions like running HP's Level 1-4 Uninstall batch files. HP's installation software still insisted that parts were already installed. Then, with the scanner connected, the installation software got into competition with Windows also trying to install the driver. The reinstallation was no good. Solution Center wouldn't even start, preposterously announcing that it couldn't find the scanner!

When you have a reliable clone of your c:\ drive you can try daring solutions. Such as this:
1. Search the c:\ drive for files and folder with "Hewlett" or "HP" in their names. Kill them all.
2. Search the registry for keys with "Hewlett" visible or buried. Kill them all.

After 1 & 2, reinstallation worked smoothly. And my computer still works! The only evidence of the violence is an undeletable file 3963d.rbf now in c:\Config.Msi. I will report back if serious computer problems arise.

The point is that manual uninstall is possible and none of the elements are in hidden places. Someone else can determine whether both file and key deletions are necessary and exactly which ones.

Referenced memory error in photoshop elements 6

Was it the preferences file that you deleted? The description you gave to your problem sounds like your running a windows machine instead of Mac so i'll give you keys for PC. While program is launching hold down the following keys "Control+Shift+Alt" then when there is a screen that asks to delete the prefs files select "yes".
