I dropped Sirius Stiletto, now volume frozen at high and can't be lowered. Restarting does not help.

Try increasing the volume on the stiletto itself.

the unit needs to be opened up, and clean the switch with some contact cleaner, if it does not work replace it. with a new one.

I also own a Stiletto 2 and I have noticed this same problem, but only when playing MP3's in my car. What I have found is that if the volume on the Stilletto is too high it creates distortion. The solution is to turn down the volume on the actual Stilletto and just use the volume on the car stereo. Problem solved everytime.

If you’re having this problem while using the FM transmitter try using a different FM Station. I have the same problem. Mine only does this when I am using the FM transmitter. I recently noticed my volume is adjustable on certain FM Stations, and on other FM stations the volume control is limited. I hope this helps.

I am having the same issue, tried all solutions listed, it appears to be a hardware issue. Going to check with Sirius, which I doubt if they have any solutions for anything.

You cannot adjust the volume when the stereo cord is plugged into the back of the dock. Instead, plug the stereo cord into the front headphone jack of the dock. You will be able to adjust the volume then.

take out ur battery and put them back in.hope it will help

I ran the stiletto device recovery program and it works again. You can find it on the Sirius website by searching for "stiletto device recovery". However, it does delete all of the content that you have saved on the stiletto.

Solution is downloading the sirius recovery software from sirius.com My radio would not connect to my computer because it would not fully turn on. disconnect the battery. Hold the DISPLAY and OPTIONS button on the radio face when reconnecting battery. Connect to PC and Sirius Recovery Program will pop up. Run program, takes approx 10 to 15 min and radio works good as new.
