What would be a new direct replacement so I don't need to rewire. Old radio Alpine CDM-7833

Alpine changes their wire harness every couple years, you will have to rewire for a new radio but all the colors will be the same.

How to set the time on alpine cdm 7833

I found the users guide on Alpine-usa.com

The manual is for several models, the CDM-7833 is one of them.

It is her if you would like a copy;

To set the time;

Press and hold CLK button for 3 seconds

While flashing, use the H and M buttons to adjust the time setting(s).

The time will be saved 5 seconds after a button is pressed.

CDM 7833 ALPINE

no you can't. i bought one from ebay b/c the guy said it would work but it didn't. after some research- i found the 7833/7835 will not accept anything through the DIN except the CD carriage.
