The date change occcurs at 12 O'clock but your watch is set so that it changes at 12 noon rather than 12 midnight. This is easy to correct, simply wind your watch on 12 hours and it will change at midnight.

Testimonial: "This is definitely the solution. I actually figured it out (after looking at another forum) about 5 minutes after I posted the question. Thanks!"

How do you Set the day of the week on Milan mln940 men's watch?

Most watches use a similar system for this. You use the same twist button you use to move the watch hands. Try this. Push the winder button so it is all the way in. Very slowly and gently pull the button all the way out. You should feel it click through a lump in the middle as it pulls out. Very gently push the button back in until you find that half way position. It might take 2 or 3 tries moving it in and out as the button only moves a tiny amount anyway. When you find it twisting it one way will change the day (the word) and twisting the opposite way will change the date (the number). They will only change in one direction so if you miss the date you want you'll have to go through all the numbers again to get back to it. When changing the Day it is worth noting what time of day it is. If it is before 12 Noon turn the button until the day just drops into view. If it is After 12 Noon wind the day button on until it almost drops the next day into position. I didn't do this and my watch was changing days in the afternoon, (Monday in the morning and Tuesday in the afternoon).

How do i set my date on Citizen GN 4W S12G? date is showing in advance.

TRY pulling the stem all the way out and then press it VERY gently to see if if moves. Be sure the rest of the watch knows which half of the day you're setting it for, otherwise it will move ahead at noon instead of midnight.

Why does the date on my seiko sne881 change at 12 noon?

probably because you have it set to 12 pm midnight and not 12 noon so at 12 noon it is actually midnight when the date will change
reset the time of the day to am or pm and any pm settings will change the date at 12 midnight.

I can set the date, but it changes at noon and not at midnight.

Your watch needs to be advanced 12 hours.

(The date changes every second revolution of the hour hand but it needs to be set correctly.)

You may need to re-set the date and day when you have done this.

How do i set the day (Mon-Sun) on my ax2013 watch?

When you pull the crown out there are two positions. The first is the day/date setting position. Turn the crown one way and the date changes, the other direction the day of the week changes. Set both the day and date to yesterday. It will become evident why when you finish. Now pull the crown all the way out and notice when you turn the crown the hands move. Advance the hands to the 12 o'clock position in a clockwise direction. As you pass 12 the date may begin to change. If not then you now know that was noon and not midnight because the date only changes at midnight. If the date did not change advance the hands all the way around 12 hours. This will now be midnight and the date should begin to change. It may be almost instantaneous or may take until 12:30 or so. Continue advancing the hands to 4 o'clock. You should see between midnight and 4 the day of the week advance. Now the day/date are correct for today and the final step is to set the correct time. Remember, you are now set a 4 AM. Advance the hands to the correct time. That means if it is 3 in the afternoon, you must advance past noon to 3. You cannot go backwards. That would be 3 AM!

My timex watch changes the date at noon instead of midnight. How do I fix this?

Hello,
This is because you have reversed am with pm.
Set your watch 12 hours back and the problem should be solved.
You might want to wait till midnight or noon to check it's fine.

Note: if you see the day shows the previous day rather than the present day, you have to set the clock 24h ahead.
Problem solved!

How do I change the "day of the week" on my Tommy Bahama 1072 watch?

But the first notch, or first snap, is the secret and the key to setting the Day and Date! In the first notch position, you'll see that if you spin the Crown one way, it will change the Day. Spin it in the opposite direction and it changes the Date! Do keep in mind that you may have to spin the Day and Date a couple rotations because it most likely will alternate between English and Spanish. Just pick the correct Language for you and it's done! When the Day and Date are set, push the Stem in all the way and enjoy your Watch! If you still have the problem with your Watch changing Dates at Noon instead of Midnight, that just means you're on the wrong 12 hr cycle. (It's set for Twelve at Night instead of Twelve at Noon) All you need to do is pull the Stem all the way out, (second notch) and Spin the Minute and Hour hands ahead 12 hours. If it's Twelve O'Clock, spin it ahead until it's Twelve O'Clock again. Doing that will put the Watch on the correct 12 hour cycle. Granted, you may have to reset your Day and Date again since you just advanced it, but at least you'll be in the correct Time Zone! How do i set date and time

NOTE: NEVER EVER set the date between 7pm and 2am or you will damage the watch!! The crown is screwed down to make it waterproof. Start by unscrewing the crown by turning it counter-clockwise until it pops out slightly. That is position '1' which is used for winding. Pull it out two more clicks to position '3' and set the time by turning the crown clockwise. Turn it past midnight at which point you will see the date change and continue turning till you get to the right time. If you're setting the time to a point after noon, be sure to go all the way past 12 noon before setting the time or the date will change at noon instead of midnight. If the time is before 7pm push the crown in to position '2' and turn it to set the date. When you are finished push the crown all the way in and turn it clockwise to screw it down.

HOW TO CHANGE DATE

The Skagen watches have  two-step stem; fully pulled out will change the time and partially pulled out will change the date (only goes one way so try turning it counter-clockwise or clockwise - I forget which is correct).  It's easier to find the date length by extending it all the way and then go back toward the case.  It won't change the date if you run it through a 24-hour cycle - you have to do the half-way thing.  Hope this helps.

Set the date

If you dial in the date before noon make sure you stop winding the crown right after the date flips. That will give the internal mechanism the most room to cycle and not flip at noon. If you are setting it after noon wind the crown just until the date you want starts to move to the following date, but stop immediately after so as to not flip over. That way the mechanism will be close to changing the date and should flip it at midnight. Make sense? Hopefully, good luck.
