You will be needing to find a helpful body shop and ask them to either adjust your hinges and latches, or, replace parts that are broken.
God bless your efforts.
say is it a 1/2closed door, then force it shut with pillow in hands to prevent dents./glass breakage. why not say current state hatch door, exactly interest off?Hidrolicks? hydraulics i guess you ,,mean the dampener arm is bad. replace.
interest off this word fails me, even genius google can figure that out.
An on/off switch that controls your lights is stuck in the closed position. Slamming hatch unhinges it and returns it to open position where lites turn off. U have a few of those switches - at least one for each door.
Hi Eric,
This sounds very much like the gas filled shock absorbers are shot. These are two (usually) cylinders about the size of a bicycle pump. Each is attached at one end to the tailgate and the other to the bodywork inside the tailgate opening. You should find this is fairly easily fixed.
check your gas pumps. gas pumps are the cylindrical objects having a smaller usually shinny cylindrical object which goes in and out of the bigger one. it is usually at both sides of the hatch
make sure the seatbelt isn't getting caught in the door jam when you close the door, it could be enough to keep the door slightly ajar or.............. when you slam the door it's possible that another door/hatch could be popping open slighlty if the latch on that door is not 100% holding tight so check each one....good luck
replace the hatch struts. I'm assuming you're talking about the back hatch. There should be 1 or 2 struts (look like shock asborbers), they've probably gone bad.
