If the rollers are worn out or dirty this can happen. Clean them if dirty or replace them if worn out. Dont use any solvent to clean them. The '******' roller prevents taking up of two or more pages, this needs proper cleaning.
Please 'fan' the documents so that they are not stuck to each other. With stapled documents, even after removing staples, the pages are held together at the place where the staple was present. Role the sheets and ensure they are separated.

Scanner canon dr6030 cants pull the paper

Troubleshoot this issue step by step:

Check the Feed Selection Lever:
Ensure that the Feed Selection Lever (located on the lower left side of the front of the scanner) is in the correct position (up) for separation.
Straighten the edges of the stack of documents to be scanned.
Set the document guides so they are wider than the document to be scanned.
Place the documents face up into the feed tray, ensuring they touch the document stoppers.
Clear Any Jammed Paper:
Be careful when removing jammed paper to avoid cuts.
Remove any documents that have been left in the eject tray.
Close the document eject tray.
If the document ejection is stopped partway, perform this operation with the document eject tray extension open.
Hold the upper unit as shown in the diagram and open it to the point where you can remove the jammed document. The pickup roller is located in the middle of the upper unit. Do not hold the protrusion on the upper unit when opening it, as it may deform the pickup roller or cause a feeding error.
Close the feeder cover.

If the jam occurred in the feed section, pull the document out carefully without applying too much force. Be sure to remove any torn parts remaining in the scanner.
Close the upper unit slowly, ensuring it clicks into place. Do not force it to close, as this may damage the scanner.
After removing the jammed paper, check if the last page was scanned, and then continue scanning.

Rapid Recover System:
If a paper jam occurs when the "Rapid Recover System" is enabled in the ISIS/TWAIN driver settings, the image of the document is not saved, and scanning stops. You can continue scanning from the document that caused the paper jam after fixing the issue.

Additional Considerations:
Make sure the pickup rollers retract when the machine is powered on.
Check that the stopper plates are in the down position.
Verify that the upper unit is completely closed after clearing the jam.
Remember to handle the scanner components carefully to avoid damage. If the issue persists, consider seeking professional assistance or contacting Canon support for further guidance

The DR-9080c scanner will take a whole stack of papers (20 or so) and shove it thru the paper path, not just the top sheet. On old laser printers there was a paper pick that got slippery. Is there one in...

Ensure that the "BYPASS" button on the control panel is not illuminated. Make sure the "Standard Feeding " is selected in the driver. Try cleaning the lower separation roller. Make sure the separation roller is pressing up against the feed rollers. If the roller set is worn, order a replacement set of rollers (Google: Canon 9080 Exchange roller kit)

No matter what i do the paper keeps getting jammed before it comes out... It looks like it's getting hang up on something by the front rollers... This is really making me very mad this morning....

Hi,
I understand your frustration. Try this solution.

* Push down the purple paper lever located on the right side of the multi-purpose sheet feeder and pull the jammed paper upward and out of the feeder.
* Open the scanner cover by pulling the lever located below the control panel, toward you and lifting the cover. Make sure the cover is completely open. Check to see if any paper is left in the paper path.
*
Close the scanner cover.
*
Remove the paper in the multi-purpose sheet feeder. Adjust the guides in the sheet feeder to the position for the paper size you are using. Fan the paper well, push down the paper lever. Load the paper with the lever down. Make sure the print side is toward the fax machine and the paper level is stacked below the paper mark. The feeder can hold up to 200 sheets of paper (20lb paper) or up to 10 envelopes.
* Turn the power back on.

I hope this helps you.

I have a canon dr-3080c that will scan all but the last page have to put blank sheet of paper to complete scan job, have replaced roller kit for other problem and the kit repaired that problem but still...

I think this is rubber roller problem. Obviously, the scanner cannot find out which is the last page. If the paper available is less, the roller is not pulling the last few sheets.

Fujitsu FI-4220C only scans one page at a time.

The problem is not just to roll over, be changed and separation pad. These two components change very easily and boxes that are delivered and indications for replacement.
These are the codes for parts:
Pad Assembly - Part Number: PA03289-0111
Pick Roller - Part Number: PA03289-0001
After replacement counters to be reset for each Pieces. Open the scanner properties.

Usually have to display a maintenance message on the computer display, such as: separation pad should be replaced.

If there is to scan any messages like that, you have to clean the sensors around the separation pad. They are round and are getting a little inside. Click on the blue button at the top of the ADF and open the lid.

I hope you was helpful.

Dr 5010c feeds one to five sheets, then stops

Clean the rubber rollers (pickup and ******) with a damp cloth, loosen the papers to be scanned. Clean all the rollers in the scanning path. What is the eror that is displayed? Download the user manual from this site http://www.usa.canon.com/opd/controller?act=OPDSoftwareAct&fcategoryid=2341&modelid=11293 (5010um.pdf). Change the rollers if they are old.

Misfeed when scanning documents

What you want to try it take a blank paper and on the middle of the page on front put a small ammount of rubbing alcohol on it, then enter the paper into the scanner and hold it so you jam it as it feeds. Then look at the area you placed the alcohol for the presence of some dirt, a blackish smear will normally appear on the paper, Do that 4 or 5 times and that will clean the wheels well. If it helps, then most likely you have just textured the rollers for a short period of time and they should be replaced. But the reason why you want to try that is to be sure the problem is slipping by the roller texture and not the roller drives, ( a clutch or motor). But since it sounds like you give your scanner a workout, the rollers are most likely the problem. Replace all the feed rollers and also look for a pad that presses against the feed roller. Depending on the type of scanner there will be either one roller that barely moves or a rubber pad that is called a skid or ****** pad, what they do is limit or ****** the feed of multiple sheets of paper. I would recommend replacing that , pad or stationary roller, it is important in feeding.

ADF problem

Hi,
Thanlk you for contacting Fixya.
To resolve the issue, please follow the steps provided below:
#Check if the documents satisfy paper specification? Please refer to the Operator’s Guide for paper specification, paying attention to the following points:
• Is there any print within 10mm x 10 mm square in the center of documents on the top? • Is multi feed error detected by paper length when scanning documents with different length? • Is there perforation in the center of documents?
#Check ADF and clean pick roller, Pad ASY and around DF sensor with care.
#Replace Pick roller and Pad ASY and see if the error is removed. Check the consumable counter from the TWAIN driver screen. When the counter exceeds the permitted values, replace Pick roller or Pad ASY. If the error still occurs, confirm that the cable is correctly connected then replace the sensor.
Hope the above information will be helpful.
Thanks & regards,

Printing and faxing more than one page at a time

Hi This is a common problem, not only with your printer, but most at some time or other. In part it seems you get what you pay for, in that if you buy premium paper (business grade 40 mil), you normally have less problems. The paper is drawn into the printer by a rubber or compacted foam roller, and sometimes the paper sheets will sick to each other, and more than one will be drawn in. The best thing to do if you are using less expensive paper, or even the expensive stuff, is to "fan" the stack of paper several times with your thumb, at the end that will face the rollers, and also don't let the stack get down to only 3 or 4 sheets, as the problem is worse near the bottom of the stack. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
