It might not be the motor, it could even be the door switch, but first unplug the fridge, disconnect the wires from the motor, insulate them, switch on and see if your house power trips out. If the house does not trip out it is the motor. It is still trips out, look at the wires to the switch and the light and also the thermostat. Good luck and remember to unplug the wall socket whenever checking any circuit.

Fisher & Pykel RF610A sporadically tripping house circuit breaker.

It may be the power circuit breaker. I had a similar problem with my oven and it turned out to be a loose connection to the breaker. Try plugging the fridge in to another power outlet.

Fridge freezer tripping rcd

Ensure it fully dries out before trying it again. Water in the electrics will throw your trip instantly. If it's dry now, and you are having the same problem. check the electrics for a short circuit or earth fault. Usually a compressor earth fault is to blame.

Electrical problem with FA561XF

Could be the breaker. Sometimes breakers just get old and will not hold when a power surge goes through it as when an electric motor first starts up. You have already replaced the compressor with a new one so I would check out the breaker situation. STAY with the same size breaker

call ana accredited electrician to check the insulation of the wires and for vermin infestation that is across electrical connections
it could be a faulty capacitor or failed motor as the earth leakage breaker is also a fuse for excessive current draw

Plugged a new tumble dryer into an extension lead in garage with my lec fridge freezer and blew the fuse, brought new tumble dryer inside house and is working fine, lec fridge freezer in garage now showing a...

you have more than likely ruined the control board on the refrige,a dryer and refrigerator should each be on their own dedicated circuit, they use an enormous amount of current to start, and even if one is running and the other starts thats enough to trip even a 30 amp receptacle, and furthermore extension cord use on these types of appliances even a large gauge cord i.e. 12 ga. that will carry 20 amps is not even a good idea because of voltage drop,as this causes motors to draw excessive current and over heat the motors and reduce appliance efficiency too

Suddenly tripped off house

Hi akula, 200 ks to a fridgie, LG appliance, you must be in Australia;) Is it the earth leakage circuit breaker operating. If so, then you have a leakage problem to earth from the heater pad(not quite sure what that is, but this problem will need to be repaired. Am doing some research to see if there is anything that can be done without just getting a new fridge. Back to you soon.

Fridge is tripping fuse box

if this is a new problem that suddenly occurred, then trust the fuse box...the frig has a problem. Most likely a compressor motor that has been electrically damaged...could have been power surges from utility or lightening or unknown. It also could be a wiring problem in the house...mice have been known to chew through wire insulation...they feel the warm wires and are fooled into believing the wire is a live food source and start chewing. A test of this wire problem is to remove the frig and plug in something that will demand close to the same current...(should also contain a motor)...read the frig's label on back of unit.

Machine fuses house RCD if a drying cycle is selected

Suggest you turn the power off, remove the top cover, diconnect the live and neutral connections to the dryer element (likely to be two of each flavour of connection if the machine has high and low dry settings). Pop a bit of insulating tape around the wire ends so you don't short anything out. Now try to put the machine through a drying cycle. If it works (albeit cold) without tripping the house power, you need a new dryer element. If the house power still trips, turn the power off again and without reconnecting the element wires, disconnect and tape the live and neutral wires from the blower motor. Again, try to run a drying cycle. If this stops the house power tripping, then it looks like a motor problem (though this would be quite unusual). If the house power still trips, you need to have a careful look at all the wiring between the main timer, the dryer timer, any hi/lo heat switch, the blower motor and the element with its associated thermostats and thermal cutouts (all located near the element on the air duct). Look in particular for chafes where wires go round corners, and where wiring crosses from the case to the suspended machinery in the middle of the machine. Pop any follow-on queries in the comments section of this question - I'll keep half an eye on it. A.
